The Mail Bag

Villarreal

On the topic of ticket fiascos, who remembers Villarreal? Anyone recall the police having to attend to quell the angry crowd ? Sky telly turning up to a queue... In keeping with our history yet another ticket mess.

I love this club and have been a season ticket holder for 30 years but frankly the cluib do little to look after us on the ticket front. Wyness is in the news as I write bleating about the Government Minister criticising ridiculous salaries. Wyness should concentrate on sorting the poor admin at the club that lets fans down time and time again.

Oh for fucks sake. This had absolutely nothing to due with Everton’s board. This was Nurnberg selling tickets to English fans through their website. What the fuck should Wyness do about that exactly. UEFA found out about it and ordered the tickets cancelled. So come on, how did Everton do this. You lot are just pathetic sometimes. Everton sold their entire allotment so fans tried to go another route and UEFA stepped in and cancelled those tickets bought by individual fans from the Nurnberg websites.

Got to agree with Dave, Nuremberg would be held responsible for the sale of the tickets. I found it incredible they were selling tickets this way. But to blame Everton FC for this is a bit much. Let us be honest Nuremberg were a bit naïve on this and a little amateurish on this, surely they have legal brains who would have known what they was doing, broke the UEFA rules.

Gary you are talking out of your rear end and god help of us if you were responsible, all clubs with a big following will always have problems with tickets, demand outstripping supply.
