Tonight's game on the internet?

Same old question, but who knows where I can watch the boys on the internet tonight?

Thanks in advance and COYB!

Why watch it on the internet, while the game is being shown on channal 5?

Mike, sadly my current television-subscription here in Holland does not include Channel 5 ;).

And for those of you who’’ shout "If you’re in holland you’re halfway, just go to Nürnberg!", it’s still a 6-hour-drive and I couldn’t get out of work today. I did doubt about it however, it is cheaper and easier for me to visit Nürnberg than to visit Liverpool? But not as nice. Will save my vacation days and money for a short trip over in January most probably!

Heres the link: http://livefooty.doctor-serv.com/. Scroll down the page and click the Everton game link. You will have to d/l sopcast or tvants (sopcast links are better imo) if you don?t have it already. Good luck.

It?s on Setanta Sports also. If you were to find an irish pub (and lets face it they are all over the world) they shoud have Setanata Sports, cos it shows loads of Irish Sports. Hope you find a suitable watering hole.

Thanks Phill! I have sopcast already, but had some trouble finding the right links last days. Will take a look at it when at home, or maybe not, since I just might follow Grahams advice...

And Graham, good idea, didn’t think of that, but apparently there’s an Irish pub on the road from work to home. Didn’t know that (in my defense, I just moved here a couple of months ago...). Will take a look if they show the match, might just meet another Toffee to keep me company.

Phill, that is legendary cheers - will be checking that out tonight.

Erik, I am also in Holland, I?m saving my cash for the Alkmaar trip - I live just down the road in Haarlem.
There is an irish bar in Haarlem showing almost all football every night, but it?s a fair walk from my house so as soon as I get a bike I?ll be ok, however.....

I am going to try my sky box over here when it arrives from England - it should work over here, then I?ll be able to get all the football I need! Let?s just hope we stay in the UEFA and we can go and watch some more!!

That Doctor-serv site is complicated and unreliable, use http://www.myp2p.eu/. This site gives you a beginners guide to p2p footy and is much better laid out. I’ve checked and the Everton game is definitely on there.

It’s also being streamed on www.jumptv.com for $6.95. I have no idea whether there are any requirements that you pay with a US credit card/bank account or anything.

Erik: As Dean Evans suggests use http://www.myp2p.eu/; I’ve been watching games there for over a year and the site is fine. They recently made a facelift of the layout, which only made things more complicated, but this is your place nonetheless. You will need to download and install TVAnts or SopCast to watch the games (SopCast being the better option).

If you have any problems with http://www.myp2p.eu/, you can try this Bulgarian site: http://www.football-live.hit.bg/schedule.htm. Don’t be put off by the cyrillic letters the site is still very easy to use the link to the Everton game is at the bottom of the list. I hope this helps.

Someone mentioned this before - www.liveuktv.com - it’s a subscription service but they do offer a free 7day trial. It can be a bit fiddly setting it up so you may have trouble getting it sorted before the kick off.

Actually cancel that - their Channel 5 stream has ceased. Typical!

I used myp2p.eu, but I got a stuttering, bad reception. I waited for over twenty minutes to improve but it just didn’t. Could be down to something at my side though.

And Lyndon, I checked out the jumptv-site, but when I wanted to pay, the Nurnberg - Everton game wasn’t there :s. It was there before I chose to buy something, but it just dissapeared.

Graham, been to the pub, the telly wasn’t even turned on. Could you believe that? Didn’t feel at home there anyway (only disinterested barkeepers in the pub) so I left for home to watch the text-version on the official site. But the result makes me forget everything, we’re as good as through already!

Finally, Phil, yep, the AZ game will be on open tv if I’m not mistaken. Hopefully the game will only be to decide who’ll finish first or second in the group.

Now COYB on sunday! Mourinho never lost a home game, but he’s gone now...
