Steve Peanuts....

We have got to sign this lad... of late he's really showing what he's made of. He never shirks out of tackles, runs all day, and has fantastic technical ability.

Let's make it known to the Board and to Stephen Piennar himself on Sunday at Chelsea how much we want him to stay.

The lad is an absolute pleasure to watch. He really is a revelation and the playing time he is getting from David Moyes, considering the rotation pressures, is testament to how important he is.

Cracking player and I can even forgive his dangerous points, in trying to trick his way out of danger with flicks and step overs.

Was caught a couple of times last night but what a player to have to compliment Arteta (Whose dead ball play last night was atrocious, apart from the all important pen)

Sign him up and quick. His technical ability little questioned, yet the pleasure for me is his ability to mix it. The lad has heart and lots of it. Seems to be enjoying this time with us too. A converted toffee no doubt.

If the initial reports are true, then like the title of this post states, to sign him up for the agreed £2.5m-£3m in this day and age is peanuts.

We have to sign this guy up sooner rather than later. Lets do it in January like we did with Howard. What a signing Howard was to. He was immense yesterday as well. But Pienaar and Arteta seem to have formed a really good partnership. Lets get him locked down for the next 5 years before someone else (Valencia!!!!!!) come in and snatch him.

I know the thread was about Pienaar (yes, sign that man!), but I want to follow David on Howard. He was terrific AGAIN last night. Not just the saves, but the confident way he was organising the defence. He’s having a great season. There are no better keepers currently in the Prem.
