I thought that travelling to The Ukraine was going to be hard to beat as far as a spectacle, location and atmosphere... how wrong I was. Thank you Everton Travel once again. (Anthony, you did us proud lad)

Our travelling fans must be amongst the most loyal and passionate in the world. Nuremberg was packed with blues, I hope our players could hear us in the city centre.

Special mention to my new nine mates!!! See you all soon.

Now with the next Uefa Cup game coming up, I don't know if anyone would agree with me but would it pay us to throw some of our youth in? The the side I would pick: Wessels; Hibbert, Rodwell, Yobo, Valente; McFadden, Gravesen, Osman, Jagielka; Vaughan, Agard.
Subs: Baxter, Codling, Morrison, Howard, Stubbs, Carsley, Van der Meyde, Johnson

First of all we have not yet qualified, we still have the 2 better teams to play. Secondly we want to finish first so we avoid the Champions League dropouts and play the 3rd place teams in the last 32.
So we need to be at full strength.
The team Ste Bird wants to put out is totally ridiculous and not even worth a comment

I’m with J Elworthy on this one, you may be getting acrried away there Ste Bird. Lets carry on, move up PL and as already said win the fucking group convincingly & hopefully get a ’weaker’side in next round.

Tell me ma, my ma....

This is one of the reasons why I can’t abide the fantasy football nonsense. I knew I should have deleted Ste’s ridiculous post the moment I saw it. I mean what is the point of even posting such a message? And then having to defend it!?!? Ste, do us all a favour... Don’t post any more crap like this please.

Has the Uefa Cup been marginalised so much that even Everton are to start treating it like a training exercise?

I wouldn’t even expect Moyes to field that side in the league cup, never mind Europe!

We haven’t won a trophy in over 10 years!! We do not have the luxury of playing weakened sides in any tournament, certainly not Europe. We’d never win anything with that strategy.

Rotation is one thing, but we should be fielding as strong a side as possible in the league, FA Cup, Carling Cup and Uefa Cup! Let’s bring some silverware in before we start playing the reserves and youth.

Sorry Michael, I’m getting off the point and as you said it was a silly post from Ste. Well done the travelling fans! That was what this thread was about, wasn’t it?

COYB!!
