What a great result in all the circumstances: the game in Germany on Thursday, away to a 'Big 3' team (who played on Tuesday), no Mikky etc.
Glad to see Moyes's positive half-time changes were rewarded albeit belatedly and what a crackin overhead kick by Tim, who was nearly out on his feet with tiredness. Unstoppable. After conceding a soft goal from the corner it was an excellent response.
This team has serious character and with character like this, methinks we're in for some exciting times this season. COYB !!!!!

Agree entirely. I think the extra couple of days rest Chelsea got, showed in the types of performances today.
Anyone know if Tim is going to get a rest next week or will he be playing a ?friendly? for the Aussies?

Spot on, what a shame we did not get the extra two days rest, the win would have been even better and well deserved (especially after the injustices of our last away game at Chelski).
Joe, Great work for the link!...much appreciated :-)

An excellent and crucial away point at arguably one of the hardest 2-3 away fixtures. I'm cock-a-hoop at things at the moment and it?s great to see everyone feeling happy - as the sayin goes ?Im lovin? it?. :)

Actually Tony Marsh wrote a very positive article about the Nuremberg performance, give it a read - credit to him, when positives are present he is as quick as anyone to praise the team and the manager.

I was so relieved today at hearing the result i live in Australia and coudn?t stay up because I have my School Certificate today. Cahill is in the squad for us next week but i think he will only play half a match if that because us and Moyes have got a deal.

Conor, I was in the west stand upper and reacted similarly - to be fair the Chelsea supporters acted fairly and apart from a small amount of verbals I remained unscathed!!!!

Great Cahill Goal!!
We had it live on Malaysia at 10pm last night... Simply superb...
But take nothing away from James McFadden who side-stepped and trick 3 defenders to go the wrong way before attempting the shot (which didnt quite happen), but ended up for Cahill to smash it home.
Generally the whole team played well...

I watched the game in Malaysia as well as it was wonderful watching the team’s grit and determination not to get beat. I jreally feel like Everton finally on the right track and going places. We are playing decent football and at long last, we have a never-say-die attitude. These days, i’m hopeful of gettting a result at almost every fixture, even Man U at Old Trafford. Now if only we can get a talented playmaker (Riquelme),a defensive midfielder to cover Carsley and start keeping Phil Neville well away from centre midfield, good things will really start happening.
Oh, and a new contract for Davie Moyes please.
