Everton Travel

Comments (4)

Away from the stadium debate... I have usually been reasonably impressed with Everton regarding travel/tickets, etc, but I know I am in the minority, or just lucky! Just in case anyone is depending on them for the next trip, thought I?d let you know the following:

I rang Everton Travel earlier in the week to enquire about Alkmaar. Was told they were having a meeting to discuss. Rang again today to be informed that they are not organising away trips any more.

I then phoned Everton only to be given Everton Travel?s number — the Box Office were completely unaware of the situation.

Eventually managed to get hold of someone who was supposed to know what is going on — apparently he only found out a day or so ago. He doesn?t know whether Everton will be doing an official trip or not. Needs to find out about ticket allocation etc., they must have some idea!

As it will be so close to Christmas, it will be difficult getting flights and their official line is not to book travel until you have a ticket — but I thought you could only get a ticket by proving you had made travel arrangements! Catch 22.

Send a thankyou letter to Big Pockets Wyness he?ll keep warm with the thousands of other letters as he stokes his fire with them in his mansion funded by his ongoing theft warming himself on the misery he has brought and grinning at how easy it has all been too.

I asked the question some days ago whether anyone else had noticed that Everton Travel had disappeared from the Fan Services link. I was ’one of the 200’ who, though expecting tickets, didnt actually get them. As I don’t have any away stubs I’ve not even bothered to enquire about tickets for the AZ game. It’s suggested that there will be around 1,000 for EFC, certainly not enough to go around.
My understanding is that Everton Travel have ’ceased trading’ with EFC. I expect we’ll never really know what happened - all I know is that Everton Travel were mighty peed off with the club over the alleged 200 tickets. I wonder how soon it will be before the club tell the fans how, when and where they can get tickets if they are eligible.
