The Mail Bag

Nice Link

Comments (4)

If you follow this link, you get to an interesting article written by a Celtic fan about our team. It's nice to get some perspective from outside ToffeeWeb and other dedicated websites. Everywhere I go, the conversation with other supporters who know their football is along similar lines and shows how far we have come (although we still have a way to go too !)

PS love the comments at the end of the article where even some reds from the City give us our due....

Nice artical (though haven’t Spurs always had a lean period?)

Anywho, forget seeking the credit, respect, coverage of what we do... so what?
We do live in a society where unfortunately achievment is considered not in the act itself, more in how many people get to know about it after. This is no more than ego driven insecurity that can be placed on many aspects of society in today’s world.
So I don’t care that the media don’t pay too much attention. I didn;t need them to tell me about all the highs of the Moyes tenure.
Newspapers are publications sold on bottom shelves of newsagents, written by people with a bias to sensationalism and sales. TV is now not that far behind. Nuts to ’em. Those who understand need no explanation, those that don?t, don?t matter.

I think thats possibly the most positive article I’ve ever read. But I think it sums it up well, David Moyes is now the 3rd longest serving manager in the PL, must be a reason for that. I love the way he was calling us a great team, music to my ears!

I blame Sky Sports :-)

Seriously... Whoever is the flavour of the moment, they just kiss their arse like there is no tomorrow. Remember the whole spurs loving at the end of last season?

They seem to forget that football existed before 1992....

There was football before 1992 ?!?!?!

Next you’ll be telling me that it was only played on a Saturday at 3pm and only international Goalkeepers were allowed to wear shirts other than green (I wish they’d bring that back !)....

Was a good article - a view from a far, the comments were interesting as well, especially the a-typical "Kopite" comments - he sure does get around that fella !
