Sign up Pienaar NOW!

Comments (9)

We have him signed up on a season loan (almost try before you buy). I think he has done more than enough to justify making him a permanent signing in January. He's a quality skillful player can play in a few different positions and would be a great addition to the squad. I just hope we don't have another Fernandes situation where we let his loan end and then delay signing him over the summer, allowing someone else to nip in.

My mate is a pompey fan and Harry Redknap is apparently dead keen to sign him.

Totally agree about signing him but I think Everton have a deal in place to sign him for 2.5 mil before the loan expires, bit like the Arteta deal, his tho nearly collapsed over wages!

We cant sign him until the loan expires - we apparently have furst refusal as part of the loan terms so dont fret - I’m sure DM will sign him, especially as he’s said he wants to stay permanently.

Keep him guessing and make him earn his supper... or continue to do so.

Why can’t we sign Pienaar before the loan deal is up? Didn’t we sign Howard before that deal was up? I’m not arguing...just interested.

He looks to be thoroughly happy at everton. When he came he was a little down as his time in germany was a bit of a nightmare.

I think he is becoming a quality player and should sign him up becuase £2.5M is a snip.

The problem is that with Pienaar turning in some great performances, (long may it continue)there is deffo going to be other clubs sniffing round him. When his loan deal expires, that £2.5m could double and more. The germans will obviously sell him to the highest bidder, because they aren’t obligated to sell him to us if they think they can get a lot more than £2.5m.

This is a no brainer. Pienaar should be under contract ASAP. When Arteta our best player is talking him up and enjoying the technical skills he can deliver then there you have it. We looked more like a thinking club when Arteta, Ossie, Nuno & Pienaar are in the team. I love the skills these four bring to the team. Although most of the goals Saturday came route one we can craft ourselves to be a formidable team either way direct or try to walk it in like Wengers lot.
Oh SIGN HIM NOW! To bad he will leave us for six weeks for African nations duty. Just when I thought he was bonding himself with Mikel.
