Tribute to AJ Clarke

Comments (5)

Just heard that Anthony Clarke has passed away. AJ was one of the greatest blues fans out there and part of a great gang of lads. My thoughts go out to Joey, Billy, Cockney Ste and all the other great blues. Best wishes to all Elm House blues and of course AJ's family. Orrys on a match day, the big away games and those famous Scottish pre seasons wont be the same my son. Love you AJ always have always will. Skinny Paul.

Grew up the same time as AJ in Anfield. Didn’t know him well but we always nodded at the game or on Priory Rd.

Deepest Sympathy to all his family and friends.

Truly gutted here ,only last Friday I made plans with AJ to book a hotel for Amsterdam and our travel.
AJ was always smiling, a real man’s man much loved and respected .He was always helping fellow Blues for travel and in their hours of needs.Only last Saturday he was collecting for a fellow Blue who has cancer ,that’s AJ
.He will be missed by the travelling Everton family his mates at the Elm Tree and across the sea to Ireland .
Still can’t believe it .A big hole will be left in our lives now .So sorry for his family .He touched so many people .Its a cruel world .There are good and great Evertonians .AJ was a great Evertonian ,husband, father and grandad .

Very sad and unbelieveable news. My thoughts and prayers are for a true blue and his family and friends at this terrible time. RIP

Deepest sympathy to AJ's family and friends. My brother Terry knew him and played for the Flat Iron. I used to watch them playing on Sundays as a teenager. RIP.
