One comment by Bill Kenwright intrigued me. He said the last time Everton redeveloped a stand, temporarily playing with three stands, "we were almost relegated." My recollection is that we were almost relegated because we were playing crap and consistently losing.
I find it hard to believe it had anything to do with rebuilding a stand - certainly not reduced capacity because we couldn't fill the other three. Can anyone explain this logic to me? It wouldn't matter except that the same brain that made that connection thinks it's a good idea to exit a major city and reinvent ourselves as a small town club, like Reading or Blackburn or Wigan.

Funnily anough, when Man Utd redeveloped the Stretford End, they won the league for the first time in 26 years.
There is no limit to this man’s idiocy.

Hardly rocket science is it ? Unless of course, you already know that and are just looking for (yet another) chance to have a bloody good moan about something, anything, Kenwright related.

The Park End cost £2m to build of which £1.2m was a grant from the football trust. So it cost Everton £800k, funnily enough exactly the same as the transfer fee we paid Chelsea for Graham Stuart the previous Summer. So it did not stop us buying many players.
The team won 5 of its first 8 league games that season and then played utter shite for the rest of the season, especially away from home where the Park End made no difference.
I don’t think Bill is a crook, I just don’t think he’s a very clear thinker. You only had to watch him and his missus on Who Wants to be a Millionaire? to realise that. The nonsense he’s spouted about a 3 sided ground etc suggests he bases his thoughts on emotion and not on logic.
Bill’s not a crook, just a bit fuzzy headed and liable to wrong decisions, although appointing Moyes was inspired. TYhat’s because he tapped into Moyes’ personality and immediately recognised a strong, motivated character. On the other hand, I do not trust Wyness at all...
Just my personal opinions.

Certain people need to look at sectioning themselves.
Especially the ones who think the loop is viable

Robert Earl is elected to the board to bring marketing skills to brand of Everton. He will have to be a bloody genius to sell the shithouse in Kirkby to anyone.
Chang beers are doing a better job than anyone. Just look at the promotions around the far east with Everton blazoned across the brand of beer they sell.
Kenwright now says that plan B will be to re-devolop Goodison if Kirkby falls through( something for us no voters to up our efforts ).
Lets also face fats, the least said about Wyness the better. He is becoming a bigger and fatter fool by the day. Who does he really work for?
A lot of ordinary folk who hold one or more shares gave a great account of themselves at the agm. For the want of repeating myself, Wake up before it is too late.
