Manager of the month
Comments (7)
I have just read in the newspapers that Martin O'Neill has been awarded the Manager of the Month for November what has hedone to merit this? Ok 4 games undefeated for the month, what has David Moyes done? A hell of a lot more, including winning games in Europe, which I know don't count. Could it be that with all the talk of a new England manager arriving and Oneills name being circulated that he has got this award?
Someone at the FA needs to be told that there are managers out there who actually deserve to win it. Saying that, Ihope that Villa now suffer the curse and get beat by Portsmouth, but I ould prefer a draw to help our cause to climb the table. COYB

Let’s just keep winning the games and let Davey just get manager of the year for England. He is already the best on Merseeyside

Wouldn’t want to let the facts get in the way of a good knee-jerk reaction though would we?!
Nevermind, at least you’re helping to dispel the myth that all scousers have a massive persecution complex..

I was amazed that MOTD gave us two in the Goal of the Month for November. Tim’s against Chelsk was a natural (being scored in London) but for them to pick out Steve P (plus Nuno in a fabulous move) was quite surprising.
But I agree about meaningless awards. Referees make the only important ones until the end of the season when the pros make their own.

While I’m here - ’The Yak’? Nothing I can say except, does he deserve a more respectful name from us all? If he’s fine with it, that will do me. Does anyone know?

Do you think we’re being victimised? All your post is doing is propagating the myth that Everton fans are bitter (particularly the last bit), and I for one am sick of it. Grow up!
