Are we bitter?

Comments (13)

If you had could choose which of the following results to guarantee which one would it be? To beat West Ham on Sat to go through into the semis or alternatively for Lpool to get beat tonight and get thrown out of europe?

Me and my pal who are both big enough blues are divided on this one. It's not being completely small minded wishing them to fail: they are our rivals and to beat then they've got to lose as much as we win.

The less we speculate on a lesser club from this City, the better.

I’d prefer us to beat West Ham tomorrow and make the semis, the game on Saturday is the PL game Dom.

Hopefully we’ll win on Wed & Sat, and the shite will lose tonight as well!

I couldn’t care less whether Liverpool win or lose. I only want to see Everton win

Personally speaking, it’s not up for debate. I will always go for the Everton win.

I get my joy and agony from supporting Everton without having to worry about that lot.

What a bloody stupid post.

How about we keep up our rich vein of form and finish 5th playing fantastic football but with L’pool winning the league?

OR

Or our season tails off we go back to "hoofball" with the odd squirt of style from Arteta and Pienaar and end up around 14th but with the shite Completely self destructing and getting relegated.

Hypothetically speaking of course. Don’t just come back and say it would never happen, just think what you would choose...

I think I would prefer the RS to progress. There are several good sides all more than capable of turfing them out of the CL at the knockout stage.

Imagine if they were to drop into the UEFA cup, with the prospect of us coming across them at some point. It wouldn’t matter what they say about it being the "Ugly Kid Brother" of the CL, the bastards would raise their game just to beat us.

Is it me or do some of our "fans" seem to focus on the reds more than Everton? so anoying.

In answer to Dominic - Everton to win ALWAYS! When was the last time we got to a semi-final & Wembley was so close? Exactly.

I’d rather we inflicted any suffering on them directly...as someone else pointed out, the semi’s would be a good place to do it if we both progress.

If that shower have made you that bitter that you’d choose their failure over our success, despite the fact we’ve been starved of it!, then you need to seriously reassess your priorities!

In answer to Mike, sadly Yes. I have no interest in them whatsoever, but that is apparently because I don’t live in the area anymore and therefore don’t have to battle daily with "red mates". I really do think it is an unhealthy preoccupation, and not a good sign when our success has to be predicated by their (all too rare) failures. Which is why I would have ditched this letter in the bin of I’d been on duty! But Colm is a much more catholic soul than me!

For once Micheal, I agree with you. I often get fans saying that I don?t have to put up with kopites every day but we did a check of my year and 8 in 10 supported Liverpool and probably about 60% of Wrexham support Liverpool which, correct me if I'm wrong, is a higher margin than in Liverpool City? And yes we are bitter ? but we have a right to be! LoL

Am surprised that you would have deleted it Michael, especially after seeing some of what you do let through.

Haven’t you heard about schadenfreud? You keep saying this is a site for all views, however do you only want to air those views that coincide with your own?
