Unchanged Team

Comments (21)

The OS reports that the starting line-up is unchanged - the only change being McFadden coming in for Anichebe on the bench.

Good! Shoes that Moyes is serious about winning this one.

The game is being telecast live on ESPN here in India - so really looking forward to this one !

2-0 for the Blues !

I have watched the first half and I’m a little disappointed by West Ham’s slightly over physical approach

81st minute should have had it wrapped up playing some lovely stuff, Osman just missed his second really good chance and it was a gorgeous move - we really play some good stuff now pleasure to watch. Jags and Yobo brilliant - lets hang on come on!

What a goal - quality. Fully deserved, we are a really good side now, we have to win something this season.

Probably Yobo was MotM but lots of good perfomances all over the park.

This is getting scary!

Beating all comers.

Top of the Eufa group.

Playing great stuff.

Semi Final on the way.

Beating the same team twice in four days (never easy)

Great win for the Blues. Yobo, Lescott, Pinnear, Carsley Fantastic Job. Would love to have seen Osman finish off earlier but well done, "Job Done"

How fantastic was that. Some brilliant stuff by the Blues, great finish by Johnson at the end there. I hope he gets a chance to start in the UEFA Cup match this week. Jagielka was superb as well, but Yobo and Lescott are just immense. Great composed defending all around, some good counter attacking and sustained pressure, another clean sheet, away from home, this is just amazing. I’m loving life right now.

Pienaar was real class today and was more of a creative engine than Arteta. Yobo had an assured performance and played Ashton off the park. The team just seems to gel perfectly - and how about that Yak scoring again!

Here i am in singapore, glued to my telly, and i couldnt take my eyes of steven pienaar. i wished i was at goodison because then, i could look @ him all the time.

now now, dun think dirty here. this lad is pure class. he works hard, fights back lost causes, has great vision, and is a great passer of the ball. he has immense upper body strength and his fitness is amazing...

please please buy him early.. i dun care what clauses the loan agreement has. be it first right refusal, or an agreed 2.5m, just buy him once the window opens.....

From BBC: ?West Ham missed a host of chances with Dean Ashton volleying wide and Freddie Ljungberg seeing his shot blocked.? Was I watching the same game?

Don’t get sucked in to the media shite. You know what you saw and I know what I saw. Just enjoy it and fuck the bastards.

Media shite without a doubt.

But BBC lads looking at their screens this pm were in total agreement - the ref was a pile of poo, fucked up the game. Not ours, Wigan Blackburn. Our old chum Mr Clattenburg. When’s the hearing?

Ahem...didn’t anybody notice that I got my prediction correct?

Great result for us (although IMHO we were a bit lucky that West Ham did not convert 1 of 3 clear chances in the 1st half, although the second half was an awesome defensive display from us).

And some great results around us (Portsmouth losing, Rovers continuing their free fall, Aston Villa drawing at Sunderland), except Man City.

And guess what, we are closing the gap on the RS ! Hope they lose tomorrow and then we will be breathing down their necks...
