The Mail Bag

On the scoresheet

I'm absolutely delighted by the goalscoring form of the Yak and Cahill. I'm even more delighted with the way the goals are spread around the team.

By my reckoning, 14 different players have scored for the Blues this season:

Neville
Lescott
Stubbs
Jagielka
Cahill
Arteta
Pienaar
Osman
Carsley
McFadden
Anichebe
Yakubu
Johnson
Vaughan

This highlights the progress we have made. Other teams have to deal with goal threats from all over the park.

What odds Hibbert to get one before the end of the season?

If Hibbert scores, that must mean he’s playing!!! Oh the horror!!!

About 30,000/1 & no, I’m not taking bets.

Maybe someone can give him a meaningless penalty to take when we are far out in the lead...

Ummmmm, Neville scores a fluky goal and you end up giving Hibbert even more stick because of it.......he might not be the best but he’s BLUE and he gives 100%.......be a little bit kinder to the lad!

To be fair, Neville has scored 2 goals for us and both were flukes.

Don’t think Hibbert will score either.

I thought Hibbert was going to break his duck at analfield last season when he hit thta piledriver, unfortuantely straight at Poopoo the Clown

I read a few weeks back that we had the biggest number of scorers in the PL, and without checking that must still be the case. Even better, we have Yak and Tim climbing up the highest scorer list too.

Tony Hibbert deserves a goal or two for all that he’s done for us. But I can’t help but think he might have to be quick about it.

So much for Tony Hibbert............but surely Baines and Yobo are likely to stick the ball in the net before the end of the season.

Me..............I don’t give a rat’s arse who puts it in as long as the Blues get one that counts.

You didn’t mention Hypia in your list........................damn I enjoyed that one !
