What a superstitious old sod I am. Have just realised that I have had red and white flowers sat in my lounge, bought for me by a Liverpool supporter, since Christmas and, guess what, we lost to Arsenal! What colour do Middlesborough play in? Yep, the red flowers have been removed!! Initially I blamed my son for bringing bad luck to the team by displaying his 2008 Everton calendar on his bedroom wall before 1st January ? that can't have helped!!

Happy New Year Patty. Glad to hear someone else is superstitious like me. I have my pre match ritual and get really agitated if something disrupts me! Of course we lost on Saturday so it’s time for a change of routine. Crazy!
Nothing red ever gets across my doorstep except on St David’s day.

Glad to say it worked guys!! and without Timmy and Joseph. Any idea what?s wrong with them? Perhaps Joseph won?t be able to go to Africas Cup. Happy New Year everyone.

Finally, we’ve discovered the cause behind Pienaar’s "moment of madness," Jageilka’s hesitancy in getting to Eduardo twice and Yobo and Howard’s howler that led to the third Arsenal goal. It was your bloody red flowers in your lounge! (LOL)

Glad you have sorted out the flowers - go for the blue roses in future.

By the way Patti, check your calendar - my brother has one from Woolies and its missing March and August - both important months for us !

happy new year !

My girlfriend has new Ann Summers red underwear for Xmas.
She wore them on boxing day and we won and now tells me she has them on today and we won.
I am going there tomorrow to buy her some more...

James, mate.

What’s the point of her having red Anne Summers undies if she has to tell you that she is wearing them.

I’m pretty pleased when Everton win myself, but aren’t you missing the point here...........

She knows not to disturb me during the game.

James, I think she’s trying to tell you something mate....Ann Summers undergarments and she has to TELL you she’s wearing them. And they say romance isnt dead!
Nice one guys - Get her another few pairs, we’ve got a lot of games coming up!
