FA Hearing for Moyes?

Comments (8)

Don't know wether I've missed the boat on this one but does anyone know what the outcome was regarding the FA charging David Moyes and him requesting a hearing? Is he still yet to attend a meeting or has he been fined regarding that shitbag Clattenburg???

Is it possible the FA know they are wrong and hope no - one will notice if they forget to schedule a hearing?!

Dm?s case will be even stronger with the recent 2 footed clamp down.

Let's hope so Amanda but let's face it we haven?t got the kind of influence on the FA that the so called top 4 do, so not much chance of him getting away with anything.

i think the outcome was we were awarded 2 european cups, the pick of europe?s top players, 3 points, a new stadium for free, 2 more league championships, 2 FA cups, Liverpool were relegated back to the championship. Finally justice is done.

As far as I remember Moyes requested a personal hearing. Everyone at the FA has been on holiday since about October and won’t be back (unless there is a chance of another office leg-over) for a week or 2 yet. We should hear more then.

For us Conspiracy Theorists the refusal to appeal Arteta’s red card v. Arsenal smacks of a deal in the making.......

I think I remember reading that the hearing’s slated for the middle of the month, Andy. Something like the 16th or 18th?

Researched this on the web. Click on: http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/NewsAndFeatures/Postings/2004/08/DisciplinaryLatest.htm

If this fails this is what it contains:

David Moyes, Everton FC
Everton FC v Liverpool FC
FA Premier League, 20 October 2007

Charge: Two breaches of FA Rule E3 ? improper conduct in respect of: (1) comments made on 20 October 2007; (2) comments made on 24th October 2007

Moyes denied the charge and requested a personal hearing

I have yet to see any updates. SAF admitted wrongdoing and an update has been posted. Methinks the FA FUd and are hoping it goes away. I will not let it..

Re Arteta deal suggested above by Tony Horne.

Arteta misses a game at a bottom third team which we could have and did win without him - a 3rd round cup tie against a Division One side and a away leg semi-final when we are probably going to be more defensive.

He is back for matches which matter. Conspiracy is we decided we would probably lose in which case the ban would come at a time which hurt us more - like when Pineaar is also missing (African Nations) so take it now. Just seems like a good decision. Just hope we don’t screw up this afternoon to backfire on us.
