Assistant of Moyes

Comments (10)

Don't get me wrong ? I think Mr Moyes is building slowly, given his lack of resources compared to the Sky 4, and Spurs, Newcastle.

But I feel we he does need an assistant, who may be able to advise during a mtch- tactics, subs. Against Chelsea, Oldham and Arsenal I feel he has made some wrong decisions. It really is a pity Gary Speed didn't come...

As much as i think Gary Speed would have been a good longer term option (and arguably short term on the playing front while we’ve had almost our whole midfield unavailable) i’m not sure he’d be able to offer any more than Andy Holden or Jimmy Lumsden on tactics etc.

Interesting theory, I agree with you in that mistakes have been made, guess we’ll never know if having an assistant could have prevented these from happening...

I think Andy Holden and Jimmy Lumsden are doing a good job, but I would like to see a european deputy at Everton buth for the difference in playing syles along with the knowledge he would have on the transfer market.

After the way Speed undermined Sammy Lee i don?t think he would have been a useful addition

I feel that DM is waiting for Irvin to fail and welcome him back after being sacked. Has nobodyelse noticed the growing influence of C.Woods durring matches? Don´t forget him.
Are not Manny + Diarra both defencive midfielders? Still better those two tan Nev+Cars!!!

What about Mike Newall, a true blue and also a good judge of footballer?

Steve Round (who was originally linked by the media when Irvine left) may now be available if Newcastle decide to clear out all of Big Sam’s backroom staff. Suppose it will depend on their new manager.

Don’t know too much about the type of coach he is, but he has been involved in the England set up so a few of our lads should know him. He was also with McClaren at Boro and Derby (not sure if that’s a good thing!!).

Gary Speed- are you kidding? I don’t care how pissed Kendall was, he’s a fuckin Judas, and he played a part in Big Dunc going to the toon.
