The return of Ossie?

Just a quick post to see if anybody has heard when Osman is likely to return. When he first broke his toe it was said he will be out until the end of Jan/start of Feb. I haven't heard anything regarding his rehab since.

One other thing has Manny played in Europe this season?

Mick Rathbone's estimate was 4-6 weeks so, yes, end of January/beginning of February. I suspect we'll hear more closer to that time-frame as there's probably little more to add right now than Ossie himself did on EvertonTV yesterday where he said he's started jogging again but needs to be patient about his recovery.

Regarding Fernandes, I gather he played in the Champions League but Uefa rules allow you to play one player who has been involved in European competition for another club in the same season, so we shouldn't have a problem.

I hope Ossie gets back soon because he was in fine form before his injury and finally looks like a high level premiership midfielder, hope he continues where he left off!

Have a look on the official web site, on Everton tv. There is an in-depth interview with Ossie. He Say?s that he will be back in two weeks.....

I hope that people will now realise since his injury just how important a player Ossie is to the team.

We certainly play better, more fluid football with him in the side.
