Does anyone have any information on the Ruleteros Society? ? there is no longer any trace of their website on the internet?

I spoke with the venerable Mr Shearon a few weeks ago and he said that the Ruleteros Society is still going strong but that the old website went down and the person who runs their site has been very ill the past few months.

If you look on the lest hand side navigation bar under quick links you can read all about the Ruleteros. I’d love to get in touch with John as I’m going to be in Chile later this year.

Chris, I managed to convince my wife to go to Chile two years ago when we planned a world wide holiday before trying for a kid and reluctantly she accepted even though she knew we were only going there to see the other Everton.
Well, she loved the place up there with anywhere we have been and we have been a few places. The people are superb and it is a weird experience different than anywhere we had been.
We stayed in Santiago and hired a taxi for the day to take us to Vina del Mar to see the other Everton. This cost us buttons and the driver was fantastic, just ask your hotel to sort this out. The ground by the way is a bit shabby and not much better than a Third Division English side but its just worth it to experience it and quite strange as everywhere you drive you see Everton FC on vandalised buildings.
