Keith Wyness on Talksport

Did anyone else hear KW on talkpsort today? I just only managed to catch the end of it re. the ground move and he was asked about those that oppose the move saying (I think) its around 20 - 25 % that don't want it. I'm sure it's a lot more than that.

I heard it myself this morning, and would applaud both Mr. Wyness and the chief Evertonian media freeloader, Mr. Mike Parry, for their five minute comedy routine. You can listen to Mr. Wyness
here. Turning the first spade this coming June or July????!!

I don’t know Everton have published timescales as of yet, but assuming the project is green-lighted by the council and isn’t called in by the government (both huge assumptions of course), then breaking ground in June or July would seem to be reasonable. I can’t see Tesco hanging about on their end once they get permission. What we need to do in terms of securing financing etc. before we start is anyone’s guess. But if Wyness is talking about the project as a whole, then June or July doesn’t appear unreasonable at this stage.
Famous last words of course!

I wouldn’t like to bet my house on the spade going in June or July.
