Enjoy Yourselves!

No going out onto the pitch at Goodison with heads filled with tactics. Just two words in the ears of the players......
ENJOY YOURSELVES!!! ...
Is that the advice for Everton tonight? Maybe... but these words were delivered by Oldham's manager before he sent his lads out for a famous victory!
Sure the world and his uncle expects Chelsea to win tonight's tie but, even if they are in a different world of finance and team strength from Everton these days, there is surely no greater difference between our Blues and their Blues in a single game than there was between Everton and Oldham, and look who won that one!
We hid from Man U and Liverpool at Goodison losing by giving both sides too much respect but let's hope that David Moyes forgets all the 'Top Three' nonsense that has so many sides cowering away from the big guys and sends Everton out tonight to have a real go at 'mighty, wealthy' Chelsea.
Smack Petr Cech hard and early and see how his nerve stands up. If we get lucky tonight ? Wembley beckons! Have a great night folks and good luck to Moyes and his lads!

My nerves are shot to bits ? I'm so excited and nervous about tonight! The last time I was near this was the final in 95 ? I couldn't sit down watching it on the box!
Anyway, with shock The Toffees are being lauded on the back of the Racing Post for the 4th spot! Only a couple of weeks ago in the RP we were being touted for the FA cup and we all know what happended there!
Luckily inside it's all about Chelsea for tonight's game - COYB grab this one by the scruff of the neck and fulfil your potential
Otherwise its a coronary at 29! As some of ye lads say here... NURSE!

I had a restless night's sleep last night thinking about tonight, threw up first thing this morning, and I can't eat. But what has made me feel a little better is coming on here and hearing people are feeling the same as me ? the very same people that annoy me with some of their views!!!
But today we are together, everyone wants the same thing, an EFC win!! I am lucky enough to be there tonight and am off to the pub soon, so I just wanna say, god bless all you blues!

As we have come so far it would be nice to have a neutral referee (Not Clttenburg, Collina etc). Does anyone know who tonight's referee is?

I am going for 1-0 AET, winning on the away goals rule. Johnson after 5 mins, then dogs of war, backs to wall for 145 mins. Not for the faint hearted...

Was having a convo with another blue in work today and he was saying that he'd rather we lose today and beat the shite in the derby in March. Dont get me wrong i hate the shite but to me this is our biggest game since coventry were we stayed up by the skin of our teeth. This 'blue' even admitted to hating the shite more than he loves the blues which i dont understand. The nerves are already here for tonights game, hope we give them a trouncing, its pathetic that thet cant even sell out their allocation. COYB!!!

It's 12 midnight here in India and there is an hour and a half to go... I'm so nervous I cant sit still... I have been on edge all day.
ALL those who are going to the game are indeed privileged... let's hope they can be a part of our soon to be historical win!

Tonight is one of those occasions that tells us a great deal about ourselves... the club, the supporters, the players, the manager.
Have courage, all, as I hope the team will tonight.

The feeling I have got tonight, is not like the eighties semis & finals, no its more like the great escapes, shit scared of being beat, I cant make the game tonight but I wish I was, just been to church and lit a candle dont ask me why but me mar used to do it when we went to Wembley so fuck it I went in and put £5 in the box and lit 11 candles, so God you owe me one.

Full of guilt and angst! The first major game I have missed in forty years! A combination of a chest infection and nagging wife have conspired to prevent me from making my usual 500-mile round trip to Goodison. If there is any justice in the world, the gods will determine an Everton victory tonight.Thank you for Sky Sports.

I think that the line up against chelsea was strong but it needed more physical presence upfront but it was a good effort from the lads in blue and i am proud getting that far.
