Neil Warnock

I was interested to read Neil Warnock's comments in today's Independent in which he seems to align with the Toffeeweb Mailbag's criticisms this week of that over-rated, over-fed windbag Alan Green on R5L. Warnock's comments were along the lines that these know-all commentators should try managing a team against the Big Three before they criticise the likes of David Moyes' tactics. I always found Warnock a bit of an irritation but he seems to have an allegiance to EFC since we signed Jags.

Warnock can be one of those annoying characters at times, but I kind of like at the same time. I thought his comments were bang on the money.

Alan Green isn’t worth bothering about to be honest...

All agreed - Green is an arsehole.

If you have the misfortune to hear the prick and are annoyed, email the show. BBC programme producers do read them, and comments do get through. We won’t get him sacked - he’s clever enough not use a term like ’the top 4’ when his beloved Shite are 6th or 7th - but he’s not free to say what he wants.
