Another horror show

Comments (62)

I will keep it short. It was another horrendous show from Darling Dave ? at home against a relegation candidate going with 8 defensive players (WTF!?!)

Make no mistake about it Spurs were there for the taking, team with only one win on the road and what is our coward manager doing ? easy he is going with 5 defenders out, please bring back Walter Smith.

Can someone please explain me of what use AJ is ? overrated, useless Championship flop who could not find his place on the bench of Birmingham yet ?Dithering Dave? is paying £8.5m for him.

How can we expect success when we are going out at Goodison with 5 defenders, 2 defensive midfielders, Championship reject and an fat, lazy, useless poor Heskey no-mark youngster, with no skill, vision or decision making is beyond me.

Oh hang on our plan was defence, defence and hoofball ? no-wonder it finished 0-0 so all Moyes apologists can bleat that we are fourth, when actually its another opportunity missed to open a gap between us and the other also-runs, it makes you wonder about NSNO and all that?

Err.... Stefan, is that you? Or have you turned into Tony Marsh?!?!

Still, we need a thread where everyone can come on and say.. (Wat for it...)

  1. We are foruth
  2. Don't you realize how far we have come?
  3. David Moyes is the best young manager out there
  4. Get Real!
  5. We were missing SEVEN of our best players!!!
  6. We're are still fourth
  7. We are in the last 32 of the Uefa Cup
  8. We finshed 6th last season
  9. We finished 4th in 2004-05
  10. Did I tell you we are fourth?
Okay, that covers the important stuff so it should not need repeating... Now, tell me: What did YOU actually think of the actual game???

Stefan poor Stefan,
Your knowledge of the game is embarrasing to say the least.
Please name your starting line up out of the players DM had available. Spurs are no longer a relegation candidate or have you been hiding under a rock for the past few weeks. And what vision from you predicting AJ to be shit before we paid up for him.
You have truly embarrased yourself this time Darling Stefan.

LoL.. Who’s been out on the drink! ;)

7 - Howard : Good saves (when had any). Great positioning. Wasn’t really tested though. Negatives are on his long balls that are just turned over. Which alot of keepers are guilty of. Should be keeping it down and relying on defence and midfielders to create opportunitys. Like when he took the ball and quickly got Nuno Valente running down the left.

7 - Valente : This guy looks like one of the most unfit guys on the pitch. LOOKS like. Hell, I’m putting on a bit these days, and if he can look like that and play EPL, lucky bastard :) But do not be distracted from the fact he can move. Nothing too appealing today, but a sturdy display.

9 - Lescott : The man of the moment. A large brick in the wall I noticed today. His confidence soaring. Not a man could beat him. Was a delight to watch. Just a pity he didn’t get on anything down the other end otherwise he’d have tipped a 10.

9 - Jagielka : The meister (bad pun) He’s looking to have learned from his partner in defence, as strong as ever and holding his line. Great partnership in the middle alongside Lescott :) Also a delight to behold on a 0-0 day.

7 - Neville : He scores a 7 with me, as overall he was resolute down the left side. He contributed to the wall of defence, but didn’t deserve their high standard as his passing let him down. On one instance almost to an opposing goal. Also his runs forward are just a waste of good play.

8 - Carsley : The stopper. The strength before the defensive line. He threw himself in time and time again, OMG, I hope he doesn’t have a heart attack back there and continues playing into his 40’s this way :) Only reason he didn’t higher score is he gets the ball up front and just bashes away at goal. Perhaps if he keeps his eye on play around him he could make something of it.

8 - Arteta : Not as visual as usual. And his crosses are letting him down now and then. But he’s definitely the better man forward down the right flank. Ofcourse without Cahill to head his crosses in or Yakubu, he had to make certain changes to his attack strategy. Had one fairly good chance shut down on goal.

7 - Fernandes : He doesn’t score higher as he just wasn’t being used the way he could have been. His ability to steal a ball in mid air from another player, tricky foot around other players and set up chances (which are let down by under performers) means he will eventually be back up amongst the top. Perhaps a little more selfishness and eye for goal is needed?

8 - Baines : The most likely to get a goal in the first half apart from Johnson. His position in a midfield role was interesting (and also worrying) to see but he pulled it off. Even being able to get back and work defensively, stealing the ball on occassion and getting it back into play. Would have been great to see him put one away today.

6 - Anichebe : He looked tired from the start. I’m not sure whether he did sustain an injury, but he looked like he had run himself ragged. Which didn’t help when he was a target man for boots forward, as Johnson is just way too short for these. Later on we barely saw his impact on the game until he was subbed off.

8 - Johnson : One of the unluckiest guys who just goes and goes like the Duracell bunny. Do the other players on the field recognise his height, can they see that high balls are a problem for the vertically challenged. Bring it down, feed his feet, through balls for him are his gold mine and he will deliver the goals.

-------------------------------------------------------

7 - Vaughan : His spirit and pace was very noticeable early on. But it was apparent the ball just wasn’t going to go in the net for us. We had two of the shortest people in the league up front, running around like rabid rabbits. Our midfield support and defensive lobs are just not adequate enough for them.

OVERALL : A game that could have gone either way, and in the end went nowhere. 0-0 is considerable enough, seeing as Tottenham have scored in so many games until now, was a great result andstill enjoying our fourth spot :)

In amongst the odd rambling and ranting, there are some truths in that post. We looked entirely one dimensional tonight again and how we can keep launching high balls for AJ to flick on is beyond me. The channel ball is one thing to debate but expecting a midget to play the Big Dunc role borders on the farcical. That said, Johnson had the best chances and was only denied by some decent keeping.

I was worried before the game after Spurs showing against United, but exactly the opposite turned up tonight, a team quite content to keep the ball when possible, sit deep, and only venture forward in the last 15 mins to perhaps snatch something. May have settled for the draw beforehand but after watching the game it’s definitely an opportunity missed. With Arteta and Fernandes (who looked confident, if a bit too individually minded at times) on the pitch, we should have been able to craft more of the incisive moves like those that led to the few clear chances we had.

That said, I’m taking it positively in that other teams didn’t capitalise on our draw and again we haven’t lost during a period when a number of first team players are out. I know the nay sayers will be out in force again and I felt that for a while walking back tonight, but looking at the bigger picture I can hope the flowing footy of December will be back once the Africans come back.

Even ridiculous articles get their replies on here but nobody should have replied to this article and just left it a blank empty embarassing screen so Stefan would sit there for days reading over it again and agian wondering why he’s the only person that even people here have never bothered with. Perhaps if he sat down for long enough to analise it he might realise what rubbish it is.
I can’t even finish im so embarassed for him. The last time I cringed for a person this much it was a fictional character in a tv comedy and he was dancing around his "Office" like a crab belting out his own music

Whether this is a wind up or not I think it shows how far Everton has come when we’re as pissed off about getting a draw with what could almost be considered our reserve sqaud against a team we’ve been loosing at home to over recent years.

The fans expect a win every week, the manager expects a win every week, the players look like they’re capable of getting a win every week. This is a good sign for the future.

Michael I entirely agree that to avoid repetiition we should do the thread by numbers but there are quite a few you missed out. Can I add to the list :

11. Moyes is too cautious.
12. The fans reaction to Tottenham ( home ) last season.
13. Hibbert was shite tonight.
14. Nil satis nisi optimum
15. Hoof ball
16. We’re not allowed to say anything bad about ’Darling Dave’ on this website
17. Once again ’Dithering Dave’ has missed his chance in the transfer window. He should have gone for Nugent, Alan Smith and Joey Barton- all would be bargains now.
18. Vaughan should have been brought on earlier
19. Why doesn’t Anderson feature.
20. Kirkby.

So now that that has evened things up a bit, I will tell you what i thought about tonight’s game. Terrible game, too many lack-lustre performances- and yes, too much bloody hoof ball and not enough movement in the midfield . Don’t be too hard on Stefan though please- I have been making spoof contributions to RS websites under an assumed name for about a year now and yes Michael I know it’s very childish but it’s great fun. Stefan’s obviously a kopite having what he thinks is a laugh. Don’t get rattled. Great webiste MK keep up the good work !

What a load of bollocks! Stefan, you are truly talking shite. I do not agree with a single one of the points you made.

I?m as disappointed as any of us that we did not get the three points, but at the end of the day we played well until the last 10 - 15 minutes. A well earned draw could have been turned into a comfortable win had we been more clinical in front of goal but to say it was a horror show from Moyes is quite frankly ridiculous.

With Yakubu, Pienaar, Yobo, Cahill, Hibbert and Osman all unavailable i would challenge you to put out a better starting eleven than Moyes selected. It was quite simply a great performance considering the amount of absentees, a goal or two was the only thing lacking.

You speak of us playing 8 defensive players, and five actual defenders as if you actually know what your talking about. You quite clearly don?t have a clue. Baines is an attacking full-back at any time but tonight he was deployed as a left winger. He played attacking football and frequently found himself in and around the opposition penalty area. He was not playing as a defender.

You also claim we played two defensive midfielders. Carsley and............ ? You can?t possibly be talking about Arteta so i?ll asume you mean Fernandes. So Fernandes is a defensive midfielder. Bullshit. The guy can tackle, likes to drop back to recieve the ball from the defenders, and plays most of his game from the centre of the park, but he can be as creative and attacking as any of our other midfielders on his day. He has admittedly not hit his top form yet but has unquestionable skill and vision. He is by no means a Carsley type player.

What next? Johnson a useless championship reject. Fuck off. Quite simply, Fuck Off. Johnson had a great game despite the fact he should have buried the chance that Fernandes (that defensive midfielder) brilliantly (and creatively) provided for him. He ran his socks off and worked hard for the team as always.

Finally, i?m not even going to repeat your description of Anichebe because only a wanker such as yourself could possibly come up with a statement like that. The kid has a lot to learn and was frustrating tonight with the way he gave the ball away to often. But overall he gave the tottenham backline a kick up the arse with his physical presence and did play some nice hold-up play at times in the game.

Your analysis is terrible which is not suprising seen as you were obvoiusly not at the game and don?t know a fucking thing about what your talking about.

I can see that you’re frustrated Stefan, but with the limited resources available to DM, i reckon that we can be pleased with the result.

Admittedly, 3 pts was there for the taking, and yes, we should’ve taken them, but im happy with continually racking up the points while the AFCON boys are away.

10   Posted 31/01/2008 at 03:56:55

What nick said.

Infact the only point I agree with stefan on is that spurs were there for the taking. They put out an average side and didn’t play that well.

I thought johnson was unlucky with his shot, it almost squirmed under the keeper, but like many I’d have been happy with a point considering the injuries, suspensions and AFCON players we’re missing.

On the subject of johnson, I think he’s a victim of his own hard work. The likes of neville know that he’ll chase lost causes, and so they’re more likely to lump the ball into the channels. I’d much prefer him to be more like the yak and conserve his energy for the times he gets proper service.

Stefan - " Spurs where there for the taking" - Isn’t that what Arsenal thought last week ? How many teams stick 5 past Arsenal these days ? Relegation candidates ? Have you seen the League Table recently ?
The worst of your comments or more accurately drivel was your rather dismissive description of young Victor as a" poor Heskey no mark youngster". How low can you stoop ?? Anichebe and Vaughan are two of the best youngsters we have had coming through in recent years. Your criticism of Annichebe is like the rest of your comments - pathetic.
Suggest you stick to reading Roy of the Rovers comics and leave the real world to the grown ups.

14   Posted 31/01/2008 at 07:31:19

Front two were not quite sharp enough, although Victor did cause them problems. We had enough chances to have scored a few so we have to be disappointed with not scoring.

Defensively I thought we played very well against a very good front two in the skillful Berbatover and lively Keane (like or loathe Keane he keeps running, doesn’t give up and closes down very well).

For a team with aspirations of finishing in the top four we should have got the 3 points. But a point it still an improvement on the past few years home games losses against Spurs.

Re the penalty - at the game I thought it was a stonewall penalty, having seen replays on EFVTV I am not so sure as I think AJ tripped himself up so maybe ref got it right - and it’s not often I agree with a ref.

Re the ref - probably got penalty decision right - but everything else was ridiculously petty re EFC, especially trying to ensure that we didn’t nick a few inches at throw ins but allowing Spurs to steal 10 yards when they got free kicks. Also did not give our players enough protection from some rough challenges.

To put it into perspective - we’re still 4th and that is the most important thing right, league position? Forget everything else, we’re having a great season and anyone who complains about anything Moyes or the players do is off their head.

We haven’t had this much (relatice success) for years and still people are complaining - it beggars belief.

Here’s one for you - last night we drew 0-0, our first 0-0 of the season I believe against a very good SPurs side with a very good manager who are in the CC final and only sit in a poor league position due to their early league form which has nothing to do with the side you see now.

Also if you look at the league, every one of those clubs chasing 4th spot have lost less games than us and we;ve not drawn many - bearing that in mind, a draw at home to Spurs (who happen to have THE BEST away record against us) is a fine result - we also have ALOT of players missing.

I’m nothing but positive.

Up the blues.

This post is a joke, a so-called big team in great form and with brilliant players all over the pitch comes to Goodison and do nothing because we dont let them! Sure, they had a bit of possesion towards the end but you can expect that of any premier league side throughout any game! Woodgate played brilliant for them and had that been Dawson we would have won easily, and why the linesman didnt give a pen when Johnson was tripped is beyond me! That game was frustrating because we played so well but just couldnt make the break through!

I love this "open" forum. We are told again and again that we should give credit and encourage the likes of Stefan, who launches personal abuse at our manager (very few "cowards" hold down a long career as a professional footballer and then win manager of the year awards in the most competitive league in the world, in my opinion), and then we are given a list of points we are not allowed to make by Michael. How ironic!

The fact is, Michael, when somebody makes assertions like "our manager is a coward", he is not simply talking about the game, is he? He is making sweeping assertions about the character of our manager. Why, therefore, do you criticise people for making counter-claims? We are we restricted from defending him? And how, may I ask, can you defend a person without referring to their achievements?

Here’s a counter-claim for you: David Moyes is not a coward in any way shape or form, he brought us back from the brink of demise, has turned us into a club challenging at the right end if the table and has forced everybody in the game to respect us once again.

Oh, and I thought it was an astute performance last night too. Wasn’t it Stefan who posted on here a few days ago that Ramos had transformed Spurs after they beat Arsenal 5-1? Ignoring the fact that Spurs have spent over £120 million in the last 3 or 4 years, I found it astonishing that anybody would dare suggest that Ramos has achieved more at Spurs than Moyes has at Everton.

League football is about finishing above your peers. This is how it works. At present, only Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd are doing better, and unless that changes, our manager deserves a lot more respect than he is given by some of the ever-miserable fans.
Chris James
21   Posted 31/01/2008 at 08:53:21

Hmm, I’m really surprised anyone is taking Stefan’s comments seriously. It is clearly supposed to be either a pure incendiary tactic or, as I suspect, a none too subtle parody of the usual glass half empty glut of negativity that follows anything but a resounding victory on these pages.
Surely the opening line referring to Spurs as relegation candidates was clue enough?

For what it’s worth I am a little disappointed about last night’s result in hindsight as I think Spurs looked pretty unimpressive in the highlights I’ve seen, but considering their recent form I’d have gladly taken the point before.

After the recent cup downers it was really important we kept momentum in the league and didn’t start getting into the losing habit. What’s more we were a heavily depleted side without 3 of our first choice midfield in Cahill, Pienaar and Ossie with Fernandes still not quite up to speed and Baines playing further forward and apparently carrying an injury plus of course our biggest absentee in the form of fist choice centre forward Yakubu.

To be honest I was hugely impressed with our defensive performance against one of the most in-form and firing forward lines in the Prem.
Just showed how sold our back-line is in that Yobo isn’t really being missed and we rarely looked threatened, we all know Lescott is world class but Jags really has stepped up to mark too in recent games.

Up front we did create chances to win it but didn’t have quite the luck/composure to nick one and couldn’t apply enough sustained pressure to truly say we deserved all 3 points. Considering the fact that this midfield is patched together though that’s hardly surprising.
Overall I can’t see is how Moyes can really be faulted in terms of team selection and tactics. He put out 2 strikers (one target man and one speed merchant) and the best side available to him and we clearly had a good go in the first half at least.
The only option available short of putting on our soon to be summer midfield departures de Silva and Van de Maybe (and I really cannot believe we’ll see the latter play again in Everton colours) was young Vaughan (like Anichebe a great talent who is still learning and not the finished article) and with 20 minutes left and some tired legs that’s exactly what we did.

So next up Blackburn and another tight game against a solid side, but with Osman and Cahill back most probably in a 4-5-1 I’d have us down as favourites to take the points and remain 4th as we head off to our UEFA adventure.

Come on Dick,

it was a wind up as Chris spotted on - parody of the usual glass half empty brigade. I covered all points in "advance".

Here is my honest view of the game:

Lack in depth results in two lost points.

Hands up it was wind up yesterday ? thoughts about the game

Defensively we were excellent against Keane and Berbatov and I thought that Lescott and Jag (with some minor mistakes) were outstanding, Valente did his job as usually ? reliable and quiet. Captain Marvel had a bad day in the office giving the ball in dangerous areas and poor delivery; this was his worst game as fullback for Everton.

Our makeshift midfield looked pretty good to me with Arteta pulling the strings alongside with Manny, who is still a bit rusty but the talent is there. Carsley was rock solid as ever and maybe could have done better with the 2 long-range shots, Baines was bombing forward and should have scored, however it was clear that he was playing through the pain barrier and did his best. We played some good stuff last night moving the ball around nicely but in the end it wasn?t enough, Mikky maybe have to learn to shoot more as he found himself a couple of times in a good positions and hesitated to pull the trigger.

The final third was where we lacking class; Although he was full of energy and desire Victor still has a lot to learn - his hold up play wasn?t good at all, his decision making also let him down and generally wasn?t in the game from the begin on. I know that he is young but for me he is turning into bullyboy impact player and not a quality striker like Yakubu or Drogba and clearly isn?t the future, I hope I am wrong

AJ was running all over the place as always with no end product, missing great one on one opportunity ? As Wally would have said: Disappointing?

Once again we were undone by a bad referee decision, they keep telling us that these things evens themselves up in long the run but I cant buy it anymore, if it was Divaldo or Van Persie it would have been a penalty; in fact when was the last time we were given a penalty, Everton are attacking side ? 5th best scoring side in PL ? yet after well-orchestrated campaign last season we somehow cant get a penalty decision in our favour and its almost February, speaking about a referring bias?

We put out practically the only 11 fit men we had last night.
Tottenham are probably the most improved side in the league in recent months as their demolition of Arsenal showed last week.
They are one of the most free scoring sides in the league but apart from the last minute when Jagielka blocked Berbatovs effort they offered nothing.

Jagielka and Lescott were superb.
Manny and Baines are not anywhere near match fit but gave their all.
The team tired at the end and Spurs attacks were from our mistakes due to tiredness.

Johnson should of scored his touch was dreadful and I felt he should of gone off for Vaughan he looked every inch a Championship standard player last night.

My only complaint to Moyes is that he brought Vaughan on too late again. I also said before the game he wont use any other sub other than Vaughan unless there is an injury.

Guys from what I seen on MOTD and from what I had read in a number of websites given the fact that EFC has a 3rd of its strengh out with injuries AFCN and suspenions and given that fact that spurs had just destroyed Arsenal 5-1 and got a couple of brillent new signining + a full squad Everton dominated for about 75 to 80 minutes of this match with injured players like baines who I thought was fanstastic.

My point being is when EFC gets its full stengh EFC well start playing better football than the time we 13+ games unbeaten.

PS has anybody seen the Juan Roman Riquelme rumour on the BBC tranfer day deadline.

Dunno what to say. Am glad though cause last season the result was 2-0 to Spurs.

I think FErnandez got his foot back in the 2nd half. That?s a silver lining to last night?s game.

The 2 Center Backs were as solid as rock.

I also noticed that Arteta and Neville seems to have like a telepathy relationship between them. Artetata, not looking back, can easily kick the ball forward and out of no where came Phil Neville to get it.

Left back was a problem last night. Baines of all people had to play there. Not that he?s not good enough but the man?s in the process of recovering from an injury.

Carsleygave hell to Spurs. The Spurs midfielfds are downright scared of him. In fact the only time they got thru is when they travel from the left or right. The middle area is Carsley to keep.

Johnson kept losing the ball. His first touch is bad and needs improving. He stops build up many times with his bad touch.

Plus, I don?t blame him for not scoring. THe goalie was good and lucky to be able to delay the ball. Mind u the ball did get thru him

Anichebhe i think had a good game and didn?t lose the ball as much as Johnson.

Vaughan came in, and should?ve came in for Johnson not Anichebe. When Vaughn came in, ewe had two ?fast finishers". So, who?s gonna do the stopping and setting?

DUHHH

Figures that we started to suck when Vaughn came in

Spot on Michael. A few years ago our midfield was so bad, we just hoofed it over them like the sinking of the Bismark.

Stefan, I can?t work out if your surname is Tosev or Tos-ser....

Without doubt one of the most ill-thought-out pieces of crap I?ve read on this site - first off you said we played 8 defensive players - I only counted 7 unless you think Fernandes was brought on loan to shore up the midfield...

Secondly, it?s obvious you didn?t have any sort of access to the game as anyone will tell you we dominated last night, and accusing Moyes of being a coward because we didn?t thrash Spurs last night is surely a case for the nurse to come and administer your medication. Maybe last season when he shut up shop and we lost but anyone could see he was trying to go for it despite missing SEVEN first teamers.

Thirdly, this was against a revitalised Spurs side who will finish top 10 - a team who we by and large kept in check for the whole of last night and would have finished off if Mrs Robinson was in goal and Woodgate wasn?t suddenly a 19-year old again.

Fourthly, Vic is still an impact player but due to player shortages was asked to play from the start and still gave them problems. He?s still better than Heskey, so to degrade him to that level is quite frankly shameful.

And fifthly, before you go calling me a "Moyes apologist" let it be known that I was calling for his head 12 months ago. Right now, he is still the best thing since Howard Kendall Mk I to happen to this club - and it?s thanks to him and his work at the club that we are becoming one of the more respected Premiership teams in terms of work ethic and quality.

When we get the Yak, Pienaar, Yobo, Cahill, Hibbert, Osman back, you are going to regret this article as we start to play football again. Until then, I suggest you go and crawl back under the rock from whence you came.

I sometimes wonder whether some of you lot actually read the posts on here.
If you did you would know Stefans stance on Everton and his style of posting.
I honestly found it amusing and i like a touch of irony and sarcasm.
Instead of calling him childish names and a kopite etc.....................

It’s funny how some people say that Moyes picked the best team, with the players available to him, but, then in the same breath, say we have the best squad of player’s since the 80s. On last night’s game you wouldn’t have thought so. Also Michael, you missed one out on your list. They have more money than us.

I’m at work so I’ve not had time to read the replies to this thread but.....

Is this thread a joke? No seriously is it?

I’ll put it down to a knee jerk ’spit the dummy’ reaction!

I’m not going to say anything else because even though I haven’t read any of the replies to this thread, I’m pretty sure you’ll all be answering this drivel in the same way I would have done.

Come on Stefan, come clean, is this a wind up?

2 wins and a draw in our last 3 games. Only 2 defeats in our last 10 both against top opposition.

Yeah David Moyes is useless. Clearly his tactics don’t work. I guess its like what the sh*te fans always tell us that it’s luck we are sitting in 4th.

If you read most of the reports from last nights game. Spurs went out to defend. They only had 3 shots in the whole game. None of which look beating Howard.

Ramos has done a great job with Spurs bringing them back from the brink of being a relegation candidate. They have a decent record since his takeover.

Even though i still think we could have beaten them. But i’m not about make ridicoulus uneducated coomments like some people

Aaaah...just seen Stefan’s reply a bit further down this thread. You had me going there for a minute. That outbursts not beyond a few Evertonians so its no wonder I didn’t get the joke! Got it now though, pitty I didn’t read before I wrote eh!

Terry, he was being sarcastic!

Brian, who else would you have played? We were missing three of our first choice midfielders for god’s sake!

I suppose that is Moyes’s fault as well?

Lack in depth results in two lost points.

Hands up it was wind up yesterday ? thoughts about the game:

The final third was where we lacking class and really missing Tim and Yak; Although he was full of energy and desire Victor still has a lot to learn - his hold up play wasn?t good at all, his decision making also let him down and generally wasn?t in the game from the begin on.

We were missin half the team you dope, Baines was playin left mid coz we didnt have osman arteta or pienaar. Be fair we’ve been really short the last few games and we’ve came out with 7 points out of a possible 9 against Man City, Wigan and Spurs. Soon we’ll have everyone back and hopefully carry on our form. It’s not quite happening for Andy Johnson at the moment, I think he’s much more effective away from home where this is space to get in behind the defence whereas at home teams defend deeper and there is less space and he struggles to hold the ball up. We need the Yak back!

Steve Roberts- Bullsh*t that it was a windup!!

Only after people asked him repeatedly if it was did he try to admit it.

No one puts that much conviction and effort into a wind up piece of text.

All i see here is a sad attempt of criticism gone wrong with an even sadder attempt of a redemption.

Now if i’m wrong sorry Stefan (which i highly doubt i am) . You do know in general its hard to tell that written pieces are suppose to be sarcasm and wind ups.

No Steve,

It was as a parody and irony but maybe I wasnt clear enough.

If you read Michael response he spotted it on the moment;just wanted to show that the critics Osman got in Shattered dreams could be applied for every player and how easy is to ignore all the circumstances and obstacles and want "the best" for Everton.

Are you all first timers on this website? I clocked it was a wind up straight off, unless stefan has dramatically changed his views over night, and since this isn’t a newcastle forum I didn’t reckon so. Steve collins, it was a wind up, woo hoo, hello, a wind up! lighten up mate scousers are supposed to have a sence of humour are they not, why are people so offended, I just don’t get it. Don’t worry everyone after this over the top reaction I’m sure it won’t happen again.
