I see that Nigel Pearson has been booted out of Newcastle by Kevin Keegan. If my memory serves me correctly, he was one of the names being linked as Moyes' assistant. Could he now step in to fill Alan Irvines boots?
On another note, why was there not a one-minute silence for the Munich disaster?

On the minutes silence I think thay can become undervalued by having too many. I for one did not agree with the George Best hype. He was a Man Utd player and they should pay their respects not everybody. As role model for my son he was not very good. An alchoholic womaniser and ex convict who in effect committed suicide. The Munich disaster is obviously different because this was a real tragedy but again one for Man Utd. Whilst I think we should be respectful I do not think it is necessary appropraite for every game to have a silence, that should be restricted to national disasters. Hilslborough, the Bradford Fire and Ibrox spring to mind.
