How many mistakes before you get the boot?
Interested to read that Clattenburk's latest cock up in sending Lee Bowyer off with a straight red in his attempted hurdle NOT injury attempt in the West Ham game has been rescinded. Just how many times will the so-called professional referees and assistants be allowed to cock up before being relegated to the lower leagues or better still given the bullet? I'm not holding my breath.

Bower desrved a red card just because he is an annoying irritant. I would red card him in the tunnel. This also applies to Belamy and Barton. Inept is an apt description of Claternburgh but on this occasion he desrves a medal, Unfortunately Bower has been cleared and we can look forward to some further thuggery from him.
Gavin, I was about to post something similar. In any demanding professional role one should be judged by results and quite frankly Twattenburg is consistently found wanting. I agree with you though, I doubt he will be demoted.... very much a case of "Who you know, not what you know".
Wasn’t even close to a sending off. Wasn’t that close to not even being a foul.
One of the reasons that sweet FA dropped their charges against Moyes was that video of Kuynt’s two-footed over the top assault in the Clattenburg derby would have been shown. Followed by the smiling ref apologising to his mate for having to give him a yellow.
Professional? Just because you get paid doesn’t make you a professional.
