It was announced today. Hardly surprising; before today, that weekend was the only one on the calendar left that didn't have assigned matches for Sunday. They (Sky) were clearly waiting to see which games would have the most riding on them before making their decision.

With all due respect it will be a game played by an Arsenal team with nothing other than pride left to play for against an Everton team that will be dead on their feet and very fortunate to even field 11 fit players come then.. No doubt it will be our annual end of season comedy of errors, live on Sky.. 6-1 defeat or something crazy along those lines.

I do wish Sky and Setanta would stop taking the piss - another weekend where I’ve got to re-jig already made arrangements at short notice.

It wouldn?t be a normal end to the season without an embarassing drubbing away to Arsenal.
If nothing else, I guess they might want to equal or better their 11-1 aggregate score against us in the 2004-5 season!

Speaking of Arsenal, interesting outburst from Jens Lehmann against his non-selection by his manager against the Dark Side on Tuesday.
Maybe Lehmann would have let the ball cross the goal line and not hoof it out of play like that arsehole Almunia did in which case no resulting corner, and no equaliser by the Scum. Maybe that?s what he meant!

Mind you no goalkeeper can stop the influence of yet another ?12th man? performance from the twat in black(?) who was only too glad to let Ryan (9.5, 9.5, 9.5) Babel?s pike with double twist constitute a penalty if it gets his friends through. When are these corrupt fuckers going to get their just desserts?

Chelsea don?t have any keepers, and Man Utd have to get past Barca who the scum beat last season so we all know it?s going to happen don?t we? Of course we do.
FFS they?re still imploding off the pitch and they just keep on keeping on along with their refereering friends on it!

I must admit, in general I can?t stand home games being anything other than 3pm Saturday, and that?s coming from an exiled Blue in the East Midlands who can?t get to too many home games anyway. But, it has to be said that if this is the price we pay for actually not being rubbish then I?ll take it. Yes, I do gain some satisfaction from the fact I can watch my beloved Blues on the tv but I?ll tell you one thing ? it?s not a patch on being inside Goodison.

So that means that tomorrow's game is the last on a Saturday 'til next season? What a load of shit. Be comedy trying to get a train to the Emirates now, which means everyone will go by car/coach/minibus, which in turn means that parking and getting home will be mayhem! Hey Ho!

Does anyone know if their is representation for the fans when all these late decisions are made, someone like the fans trade union, who can come out and direct us all as one, for OUR best interests. Like the Chelsea game, that was changed with out a thought for the traveling away fans. It can only be a positive step for all football fans. Any ideas?

Dont think so, Dave. We all remember players before they got representation, they got shit on. Now we are the only ones without a collective voice and we are getting shit on.
