Honey Monster return?

Comments (9)

Rumour du jour in Dublin today is that Richard Dunne may well be coming back to Goodison this Summer. Even though Moyes has Yobo, Lescott, Jagielka and Baines, the word is Jag is likely to adopt the Carsley role, leaving us a body down at the back. In terms of backup we can still pick from Neville, Hibbert and Valente as backup or indeed sell any or all of the above and use the proceeds for younger legs as cover...

which bar was this and how many had you drunk?
Jags as already proven in practice is not Carsley material.
Anyhow the way I heard it was Barcodes for Dunne.

I’m not going to Panic, as we still have Anthony Gardner!!.............................................Err and Scott Spencer & Gosling. All is well.

Barcodes, Naw Dunne knows we can offer far more in wages.

What we really lack in midfield is height and presence, looks like we will get this with a new defensive midfielder, but we might already have him in Joey Yobo, he has played in this role before is comfortable on the ball and great in the air. Or possibly look at Diaby at Arsenal who has a more all round game and a greater threat going forward. After seeing Jags in midfield earlier in the season he is certainly not an option, but great at centre back!!

Alistair, hope you are joking about Yobo in centre midfield. You must have a short memory because last time Moyes played him there he was awful. We need a quality centre midfielder, not just a work horse who can tackle ala carsley.

It?s not true. How would people in Dublin know? It would make no sense, cost too much money etc etc It?s just rubbish.

Not a chance. I would be pissed if DM wasted money on another Central Defender. Now is the time to break the bank on a future CDM hall of famer.

A young, duracell powered, athletic, box to box psychopathic giant with a footballers brain and feet made of honey.

We need two midfielders and one attacker. I want to be spoilt this summer and anything less is comedy.

Alastair Nichol, mate are you joking about Yobo being comfortable on the ball? He's a good "stopper" centre-half due to his athletic qualities, but if he has more than a second on the ball, or to think then he makes many poor passes and decisions.
