KEIOC Shirts

Comments (8)

I wrote to the KEIOC, to ask why they don't sell these tee-shirts around the ground?

I got a reply stating Everton Football Club have banned anyone wearing these shirts. Is this true? If so, why?

For the same reason that anti-Kirkby banners are not allowed in the stadium!

It's simple then: get your KEIOC tee-shirts, put them under your EFC shirt and all show them every time we score.
Oh maybe every time we get a free kick might be better.

This gets worse and worse. Fascism is alive and well and holed up in the Everton boardroom. Who the hell do they think they are to dictate what can or cannot be worn at the match? (white socks and hoodies fair enough but...) Running scared Bill?

Fascism, calm down please. A more sensible reason might be that it could start an altercation between fans wearing the KEIOC shirts and those who disagree with them. This debate gets pretty heated on internet forums, but put people in the stadium together after about 8 pints advertising their opinions on the matter with a shirt and it could get very ugly. One person walks up and says they don’t like KEIOC, they person wearing the shirt says that they sold out Everton and the next thing you know a brawl has broken out.

Hello Colin

I haven?t seen your mail to KEIOC and you certainly didn?t receive that reply. If you?d care to contact us through the official site we?ll sort you our with a tee shirt, just the same way as we?ve done to many people. To be fair to the club I?m not aware of any ban. Look forward to hearing from you.

What is true though is that the club censor the comments on their website to ensure that only pro-Kirkby influences appear. When they published the propoganda piece on the MP supporting the plan I wrote a polite comment stating that I felt constant articles about the positives of Kirkby make the club look worried. It never appeared, surpisingly enough.

Tell you what, wear a KKK hood in a crips neighbourhood or a Rangers shirt in a Celtic game and you?ll see why certain items of clothing aren?t allowed, or for a less extreme example, wear a shirt supporting Kirkby if you go to a KEIOC meeting, I?m sure they?ll welcome you in with open arms, dumbass.
