Contract Talks

Have I missed something or has it gone deafeningly quiet on the Moyes contract? I suppose we'll be told it's because of holidays, prior commitments, a recent meteor shower or somesuch. Any ideas what the real situation is?

I have the horrible feeling that it is down to transfer budget. The fact that Moyes wants to push forward next season. Rather than signing a contract of more money but less to spend on players speaks volumes for the mans integrity in my eyes. He was very close to ditching us last season, i have my doubts he?d stick with us again if celtic came calling or blackburn decided to give him a kitty worthy of himself. Scary thoughts but we could be very close to free fall in mid summer and managerless at this rate.

Celtic don’t have a budget or any other SPL team as K Wyness fucked their Sky deal whilst at Aberdeen and Blackburn are about to get their best players cherry picked after Mark Hughes left leaving a bigger job to do there than here. I’m not saying working with BK and KW is ideal but it’s better than those two mentioned.

Spotted this on the official site, though I think someones dropped a bollock printing Bully’s private thoughts at the end. Probably one of the muppets from the megastore ’ multitasking’ - You just can’t get the staff.

Yes Mr Mike Holt is spot on it’s all down to Meteor showers caused by sun spots and the alignment of Uranus.
So nothing to worry about & don’t forget to buy the new ? ’ spot the difference kit’

I personally wouldn’t balme Moyes if he fucked off due to a lack of transfer funds, to be honest.

We now need to get in to the top-4, in the league cup and get in to the last 8 of the UEFA Cup next year to have made progress.

Without cash to spend there is no fuckin’ chance is there.
