I received the Evertonia membership application form in the post yesterday, as I?m sure many of you did. Decided that its worth the £19.99 a year to get the jump on the available match tickets etc.

Come into work this morning, logged on to the site to sign up as per the information leaflet and lo and behold the website is still set up for last season?s membership!

I mean come on Everton??? This must be one of the easiest revenue streams to operate and they balls this up too!? It beggars belief to think that we operate in the same league as the likes of our Northwest neighbours.

Did exactly the same myself. Obviously EFC don’t need the £40 from me & my boys that urgently

I expect Fatso has franchised Evertonia out for next season together with everything else!

If you go via the link down the left of the main site "Club --> Evertonia Membership" it does not work.

What you want to do is go via the new eTicketing site. Along the top "Tickets --> eTicketing"

Works fine that way.

Last season they didn’t even bother announcing anything till August 1, by which time the opportunity to buy early for Wigan on August 11 and Blackburn on Aug 25 had been lost.

I sent off the form, waited, chased it up, e-mailed etc and got no reply and never did get the cards. That was £40 they lost. As it turned out I never needed it anyway, but it was rubbish service. Also I expect that they won’t now ask me to renew this time around and we may well not bother anyway meaning that’s another £40 they’ve lost.

Did you got to any of the UEFA games last season?

The only reason I ask is that last season I noticed tickets went on sale to Evertonia members at season ticket holders prices. I was buying approx 6 tickets per UEFA game for friends/family etc. On buying 2 Evertonia memberships + 6 tickets for 1st game, the saving about payed for the Evertonia memberships. I then got discounts on the rest of the games with the 2 Evertonia memberships getting all the tickets.

Fair point Blake. I did get to the Fiorentina game where I paid full price although I also managed a seat in Row D of the Upper Bullens directly in line with the half way line! Best view I have ever had at Goodison.

Generally, we buy a couple of Evertonia every season, but it is infuriating when the Club can’t even send you the cards, or more pathetically, even bother to repy when you keep chasing them up.

Twas ever thus!
