New Training Ground

I was just wondering if anyone knew if the new training ground is built yet? And if it's ready for the new season? Hopefully, European football and top-quality training facilities will attract good players instead of the likes of Koumas!

The Official site implied as much regarding the new intake of Academy players last week: "... who will ply their trade at Finch Farm." But, like the transfer rumours, I won't believe it until I see the Fancy Dan opening ceremony with Joseph himself cutting the ribbon...

I pass Finch Farm fairly regularly and have watched it grow. It looks very impressive.Vast indoor facilities (looks like it could contain a full size pitch to me) and the outside pitches look good. I just hope the philosophy of football preached there (though) matches the facilities.

Does anyone remember when DM took over he was supposed to have foreign fitness specialists working for him and the sick list disappeared very quickly? Anyone know what happened to those guys or if apart from the odd Italian holiday DM has taken anything onboard?

I’d also like to know the outcome of the recent meeting about the state of youth football training that was posted on the BBC website, the dreary Howard Wilkinson method must be on it’s way out given the obvious quality seen overseas.
