Anybody else think Beattie looks dangerously under-nourished on those training pictures on the official website? Apparently he locked himself in his bog for the last month with a self help manual and a job lot of laxatives and quietly went about the business of losing approximately six stone. Quiet (most of the time, efficient and away from the public glare — which would be embarassing). The Everton Way.
