Well, it's amusing to read all the endless debate raging over the move to Kirkby. I can tell you categorically... it ain't ever going to happen.

And all the fretting over LCC shafting us... As far as the Kings Dock farce is concerned, LCC would have kept most of the gate receipts and held the keys to the new Everton Kingdom so we would have been merely tenants. That is the reason why it collapsed and why no-one would give Paul Gregg and his reverse mortgage the time of day.

So to the proposed Kikby move... don't worry: it is doomed to fail. The size of the whole project, with retail park, stadium etc just isn't going to happen.

But forget about the eight sites pout forward by Warren Bradley... What will happen instead is that, when the exclusivity period finishes, Peel Holdings are waiting and have a will put forward a scheme based on their Switch Island site in the north of Liverpool...

John Burns... Surely not THE John Burns of Stadium Debates Gone By...!!!??? Quite the stunning revelations there, John... if true. Of course, only the passage of time will show whether there is any truth in what you so boldly claim. 'Scuse us if we remain just a wee bit skeptical for the moment...

OH NO I always regard Switch Island as Maghull.Thats even worse than Kirkby in Scouseoligy terms.

The bloke with the white stick and labrador that redesigned the traffic lights and lanes abortion at Switch Island has made it barely capable of coping with rush hour traffic never mind 50,000 football fans leaving at once, it’ll never get planning permission.
