The Mail Bag

Good job, all those PR people!

On a day the red shite signed Torres, our PR people arranged to tell the world that we finally signed Jagilka! Don't get me wrong. I'm glad to have Jag in our team. But such an arrangement showed how inadequate, complacent and a lack of ambitions the club bureaucrats are! Don't you think all of us Evertonians can really stand tall against the Red Shites today and say, "Yeah, right. You got Torres, but we got Jag..."

Who gives a shit about them and him? we’ve signed Jagielka, a good addition to the squad. Did you expect Everton to unveil Ronaldinho to gazump them? behave. And be happy our summer silence is over.

Just another who must, at all cost, find something, anything, to moan about.

I couldn’t give two hoots who they’ve signed compared to us. What did you expect Everton to do? Wait 2-3 days before they announced Jagielka’s signing, did you think people wouldn’t find out?

You loon.

Imagine how Jags would have felt if we said to him ’’well were glad weve signed you mate but we will have to wait a few days to unveil you because your not as big a signing as Torres’’.
Behave yourself you muppet.
Who gives a shit about liverpool anyway?

Just think for 1 minute. Torres fails Liverpool have wasted 20mil (which they may or may not recoup). We potentially sign 3 or 4 players for around the same fee, 1 doesn’t do the business-whos the winner? You may call it lack of ambition but the blues are signing players that will help their squad next season. Torres is a gamble the RS can probably afford to make-they’re trying to win the league alledgedly!!!!-but what do we care anyway?

Plus you have to remember we’ve done it the Everton way, efficiently, quietly and without much fuss.

I shouldn’t worry - they sign good strikers and turn them into shite. Morientes?!

I can stand tall and say it... The shite got Torres, we got Jags! I know which player will always give 100% in every game. Just need to bag a couple more in now!

Dupont Koo - I agree with you completely. The BBC website showed Torres all night and never posted Jags as the top story. Everton need to be better at raising their profile. Sadly - Jags is not the class of player to do that...

What genuine Evertonian gives a rats ass about them pricks over park. Whoever they sign is of no concern to me, I’m only interested in Everton Football Club & what we do.....I suggest you do the same & stop worrying about trivial bits of shite!

It’s a decent enough signing. The thing that worries me is that Naysmith appears to moving in the opposite direction. I’m not saying Naysmith will be missed for his playing ability but with Europe approaching we do not seem to be building on our already "wafer thin" squad.

Torres is massively overpriced and the fact that the goat beard idiot is now prepared to let Bellamy go proves he made yet another mistake in the transfer market.
