Left Back

I noticed that gary naysmith still had a squad number on the Everton website. If, as seems, he`s been sold, we must have a replacement lined up to wear the number 3. Anyone know who? Quedrue or Baines?

lescott is a left sided centre half
valente,(much as i like him) is 30/32
boyle is still a young boy.

It shouldn’t be necessary to state the obvious, but in your case Simon, an inability to utilize the shift key seems to say a lot. Three players as cover for one position. In a squad of less than 30 professionals, that’s pretty good, surely. Do the Maths! Or do you want us to bring back Michael Ball?

We need Lescott playing at centre back which is his best position, we cant rely on stubbs all season can we i see him as more of a backup now. Whats the point in even including Valente, hes just going to spend the season out injured picking up his wages just like Pistone. Boyle isnt good enough for are first team and thats end of. We need a good solid left back and the likes of Baines and Quedrue are ideal.
