Rumour?!?

I normally ignore all rumour and journalistic speculation and get on with supporting whatever squad we have assembled come August 11. However, my well-placed mole has indicated that I should prepare myself for a big happening down Goodison way; those in the corridors of power are expecting a big big season. What can it be? No idea really but I thought I would share it with you anyway. UP THE BLUES!

It wasnt suppose to come out now but anyway i will be joining your great club by the end of the month for a transfer fee of £5.50p and we will be playing for free

My God! Earth-shattering news! The detail is phenomenal and there is no doubt about what is coming. I just wish all the rumours were as precise and accurate as this. By the way, I heard that we are playing in the Premiership next season and that we will be using....players! My mole also told me that he has it on good authority that we will also be entering two domestic cup competitions and, don’t quote me on this one though, a European comp! I just hope my mole is kosher.

Enough said.......

I don’t think they’re ridiculing Ken (I know I am not), just fooling around with each other, nothing personal.

I hope he’s right and there’s going to be something big. But like everything in the silly season, I do not believe it before I see it myself.

I would not be surprised if we re-re-re-signed Francis Jeffers again!! One more chance, wot the heck, if we?ve given AVDM 11 chances why not give Franny 4!

Also heard those rumours Ken, Moyes said at the end of the season for fans to be patient, Neville has reiterated this recently. Is anyone else seriously worried that the inflated transfer of Jason Koumas to Wigan who are desperate to attract player’s and with Whelan’s new found millions are prepared to pay well over the odds is a threat to Everton. The Copa America is due to finish this week expect to be suprised.

How many of you genuinely think we?ll sign Riquelme? Where did the rumour originate from? it was certainly before the Official Site revealed it wasn?t it?

Doubt we?ll sign Smith, he seems to think he can still get a game at Man U.

Defoe appears to think the same at Spurs so he?s off the list
I definitely don?t think we?ll sign Koumas or Nugent - overpriced

Of all the signings that have went on I?m glad we?ve not been ridiculously busy. Think of the players that have went and for what prices. Reo-Coker, Barton, Parker - none of these would have greatly improved us, two of them would more than likely have upset most of us.

If Riquelme signs it will be geniunely surprising and a great day for all of us.

All these Riquelme rumours are a load of shite.The only way we could afford to sign him is if it was on a free.Also,imagine what we would have to pay him in wages,because quality players like him don’t come cheap.It is just a rumour that has totally got out of hand.Let’s go back to talking about Smith,Richardson,Koumas.They are the type of shite,err I mean quality players we should be looking at.

Something BIG will happen eh??. I think the difference of what I call big and what the mole in the the club and hence maybe the club THINKS is big is still quiet large. But, as ever, I will hope for the best (my version of the best)

Call me a cynic but it wouldn’t surprised if the big news was about the ground move.
Why change the habit of the summer and actually start building up the squad.
By the way Davey, if your a bit short I’m sure I can find me boots somewhere in the garage...!

what is going on here at this clun 1st of all where are all these signings going to happen it make me sick when little clubs like birmingham and west ham and sunderland can sign players left right and centre why cant we we have something there dont have is european football next season there is on person to blame for this is bill kenwright as soon as that bloke leaves the club the beeter hes just 100 persent all sel and dont care what the everton supports wantdo us a favour bill please sell the clubb plz plz plz
