The Mail Bag

Progress?

Well, we are shaping up for another early exit from cup competitions again! Moyes's inability to handle the transfer market means we will not strengthen a very weak squad sufficiently. We have signed one player and with the addition of another and a few loan signings thats it for this season.

Cup competitions will again see us play a weakened team which will exit all competitions early on. The "Moysette Brigade" will again point to a mid-table finish and early exits in cup competitions as another season well done by " the one we must not criticise".

I feel sorry for those people who are prepared to accept such mediocrity. I, for one, am not and something must be done to progress this once great club.

Here, here Peter... preferably starting with an explanation from Kenwright & Wyness as to why we cannot find suitable investors but the likes of Portsmouth, Villa, Man City etc can.
