Setanta

Comments (3)

After hearing that LFC had agreed a deal with Setanta over a football channel, I decided to ring my provider to ask a few questions: namely, was it PPV? The answer was no. It is free to all who subscribe.

I then asked where Setanta paying them for the privilege, the answer was, yes. Petty as it may seem, I cancelled my subscription as I don't want one halfpenny of my money going to the bastards. So that's it. No golf, hurling and the loss of a load of Premier League games. Coupled with no signings, life is a bag of laughs being a blue at the moment.

totally agree with you ,dont let the reds have any blue money BUT its so funny to watch them spend huge amounts of money on players that only last one or two seasons , for all the millions they have spent we the blue 3/4 of merseyside have a squad of players who play for each other and for the fans , not a gang of pri-maddonnas who sign for the money

I still won’t drink Carlsberg..even when it’s 1.35 or 2 for 1. It’s a point of honour and I let everybody in the pubs know why. Petty? Don’t care. Bitter? No, Fosters, Labatt’s, Carling, XXXX, anything but Carlsberg.
