At last, the time has come!

First and foremost, when at the game to-morrow, I?ll be using my voice to get behind the eleven men in Royal Blue shirts. However, I?ll also be using it for another reason. After eight and a half long years it looks as though the time has finally arrived when we can inform Mr Nicolas Barmby Esq. exactly what we thought of his defection to the club half a mile away.
In my humble opinion, telling Walter Smith that he wants to sign a new contract after Euro2000, and then making public his love of all things red, when still a blue, was not a very nice thing to do.
Every year since, while playing for Liverpool and Leeds, he has always found himself ?injured? whenever a return to Goodison was due. This time however no such sounds have come out from Hull City, so it looks as though he has finally plucked up the courage to return ? at last, the time has come!

Not one to hold a grudge then are ye?
Get over it.
Adam, I would just let it go, and just think of him as the tit he is, and always was. Wonder what the odds on him scoring the first goal?
Dave Wilson, it was a joke mate!
All together now "Die die Nicky Nicky die............"
I for one cannot wait.
The best way to get back at the snyde is to stuff Hull.
Then laugh at him at the final whistle.
Why get aggitated by what is a complete fucking mercenary? How many times has this prick stated his prior desires to whatever club is handing him his paycheck? FFS the guy is worse than Viduka.
He is just another in a long line of wankers who would have you believe they all grew up on the kop supporting the shite like Robbie Keane, Chris de Burgh, Sissoko, Eminem, Cilla , Tarbuck, Billy Bob Thorton, Ang Jolie etc etc.... apparently they were all on merseyside watching that shower of shite.
Quite frankly, I'd be embarrassed.
I don’t think it was just us, he played for the highest bidder. His reward? A shorter career in the highest league.
He was crap for us until his contract was running out, crap for the reds and has been unheard of since.
I hope everyone gives him a warm Goodison welcome. That would be the same welcome Radzinski received.
He?s a fucking gobshite and I hope to give him an earful, twat.
You can always get down to Formby Hall Golf Club & Hotel were the Hull City team are staying to give them & him a bad night's sleep.
No need for all that bile guys. The mistake was most definitely Barmby?s. He was starting to play his best football for us, but quickly forgot about all that. Barmby was a childhood Kopite who let it blinker his judgement. Just ask Robbie Keane what it feels like.
Fully agree with the sentiments from Dave Lynch. Best thing we can do is put 4 or 5 past them (and a Pip tackle on Barmby a la Ronaldo would go down a treat too!)
COYB!
Not sure why but his departure to the dark side irks me more than some of the others - Jeffers, Rooney, Radzinkski.
Maybe because of the fact of who he went to and the way he went about it.
Alan, are you disputing that Robbie Keane grew up supporting Liverpool? Based on what? And Tommy by all means boo and jeer him to let him know the feelings towards him but don’t make wanker out of yourself by shouting personal abuse from the safety of the stands. When watching such bullshit at matches on TV I don’t konw whether to laugh or cry at the degenerates on show.
Yes Barmby really was the sithouse of all shithouses, if you?ll pardon the analogy. I remember watching this guy after us breaking our transfer fee record, play shit and get injured for 3 years then finally put some form together, we shout it from the rooftops that he should be playing for England, and he fucks off to the slime over the road. BITTER... TOO RIGHT!! I'll certainly be letting him know what I thought of him.
He went to a bigger and better club and won some medals. Anyone with half a brain would do the same. What?s the problem?
@Shane, yes I will dispute that Keane grew up standing on the kop, because it didn't happen. As my post said I wouldn't bother getting aggitated by this leech. And I will GO the game and enjoy us taking three points.
I think you have come on trying to get a rise out of people, but to no avail. So instead of being argumentitive, just discuss the post in an adult manner, if that's possible.
I am surprised he is still around as it seems an age since he left and he was pushing 30 then. We will win by a couple of goals from Fellaini and little Nicky will get a great view of it sitting on the bench.
All I care about tomorrow is that we get the three points.
Eminem?s a declared RS?
Who cares? Leonard Rossiter was a Blue.
Stuck overseas, anyone know of any decent online links to watch the game live through t’internet?
Alan, I have certainly not tried to get a rise out of anyone. I just despise watching games on TV where fans starting shouting personal abuse at players on the pitch from the safety of the stands. Robbie Keane never said he grew up in the Kop ? he said he supported Liverpool as a boy in Dublin, that?s all. Maybe he went to Anfield once or twice, I don?t know.
