(for the Anfield Derby)

HOME OF EVERTON
(To the tune of The Star Spangled Banner)

Oh say can you see
Shank-ley?s gates open wide
And from to-wer and wreaths
All the kop-ites are flee-ing

For our city?s first team
Has returned ?cross the green
To repay ol? saint John
With a ro-yal blue beat-ing

Sharpy scored them with flair
And Big Dunc in the air
More years in top flight
To which none can compare

Oh say can you hear
From the Street and Park end-ers
That the Mersey will always run
Through the home of EVER-TON
EVER-TON
EVER-TON

The Falklands (and we fought a war for this) and now Alaska. The bleak desolation must be getting to them. Mind you I suppose living in the land of Palin is enough to send anybody crackers....

We are presuming that the RS will understand.... there was a great shout on Bluekipper I read where one gobshite at an anfield derby shouted at the blue end "what the hell have you ever won" and a plucky blue shouted back "we were league champions here before you lot even existed".

Nice work Paul. Wonder how Waldorf and Stadtler would like that being sung by 6000 Evertonians pre-Fa Cup match.

Fuck me lads. That is fucking woeful. You?d have to be a massive, MASSIVE bellend to contemplate singing that.

Sorry Rich....I know it?s not the best.
Sat down and re-did it. Wanted to put something together theat would last beyond the background chorus of ?You?ll never...?, that would reflect our history and place in city bofore that shower, and that was not entirely based on hatered and bitterness (despite that fact fact tht that?s what drives us in the derby). So here goes:

Ev-er-ton, Everton, Everton.........
(repeat once through then fade...)
Got it Rich?????????????
