FA Cup Ties

Can anyone verify that Everton have been matched up against Satan's Spawn in the FA Cup more than any other two teams in its history?

Indeed, next week's game (according to my records) will be the 19th FA Cup game against our neighbours, which includes 2 finals and 5 drawn matches. Sheffield Wednesday are next with 17 including 1 final and 5 drawn games. Sunderland are Everton's 3rd most common opponents with 14 games and 3 draws. Arsenal have only played 3 matches in the FA Cup against the Blues.
Sorry you eagle-eyed people, Sheff Wed have played in 2 cup finals against the blues. Also, I don?t know which tie is the most frequent for the whole competition.
This will actually be Everton’s 21st match against Liverpool in the Cup followed by Sheffield Wednesday who we’ve played against 19 times.
And yes, these are the two most commonly played fixtures in the history of the competition.
Is it true that we have never lost a cup tie at the shite's ground?
To date in the FA Cup we have played the shite at the onion patch 3 times :-
1901-02: drew 2-2 - lost replay
1904-05: drew 1-1 - won replay
1990-01: drew 0-0 - won 2nd replay
So the smart money must be on a draw ? then finish them off at ours!!!
Steve Flanagan, yes you are correct but I failed to count the FA Cup Finals, because they were not drawn out of the hat.
According to the programme for the Hull game, we have lost an FA Cup game at Anfield. However, it was against Burnley in January 1892 and we were the home team.
