Season Ticket Flexibility

Comments (8)

On Wednesday evening I attended a fans focus group at Goodison Park along with another 10 or so Season Ticket Holders. During the session, I found out something that might be of particular interest to season ticket holders who have children that they would like to take to the game sometimes.

It is possible to change your seat for individual games to get two seats together. So for instance if I want to take one of the kids to the Arsenal game, the ticket office will find two seats together for me and sell my seat for that game.

As a parent, I think this is a great idea and nobody in the room seemed to be aware of it. I said on Wednesday night that as a fan and a season ticket holder it's the little things that count and recognition where it's due, the Big Screen for the Macc game and things like this begin to restore faith that on the whole the club tries!

I was not aware there were fans focus groups, was there an agenda for it?

How do they decide who attends as well?

I?d like to ask a question loosely related to this, I want to take the Mrs to a game, and feel the Everton V Arsenal is the one for us, I have never been to a game before (I am 35 but you gotta start somewhere!!). If tickets are on general sale, can I just go join and then purchase tickets to go? Is it as simple as (me) that? Or do I need to be a season ticket holder or something else....??Hope you can answer the question....

Mark, just go on the official Everton FC ticketing page and get the ticket office phone number. Book the two tickets over the phone and pick the tickets up before the game on Wednesday. Once you?ve got the "going the match" bug, there is no going back. Happy Days. Hope you enjoy the game!

Mark, welcome to the fold. Go to the official site. Go to the tickets bit then register your details. Then pick your seats and get out your card. But be quick as the only seats together for this are obstructed views and back row jobbies.

I raised this with Wyness as a major customer service issue over 2 years ago and as far as I’m aware, it’s the only thing he ever delivered on! Man City have been doing it for the last 10 years.

Mark ? my advice to you is don?t take the missus, she might want to go again.

My missus used to nag me all the time about going to a game but I didn't want to as it's what I do with the lads, few beers etc ? like many others. She persisted in nagging.

So I eventually gave in. I chose carefully what game to take her. So I took her to a Carling Cup game on a really cold November?s night against Scunthorpe. I got tickets in the Top Balcony. There were only 10,000 there and the atmosphere was shite.

Needless to say she never wanted to go again ? job done,

Take my advice, you might regret it if you don?t!

Haha brilliant Brian. I took my Mrs to Everton-Arsenal we lost 4-1 and the atmosphere was equally flat. Job done. Arsenal were champions at the time I am hoping and praying that this time round the result and atmosphere will be very different so Mark I believe like Brian you may want to bide your time. :-)

Thanks guys (I didn?t want to highjack the original topic!!) ? it's an early Valentine's Day gift (I know, call me an old romantic!! ? but she forgot our anniversary...!!). The deal is done.

She has been to watch England before so I doubt even a cold night watching Scunthorpe is gonna dampen her spirits... I am taking some lads too, so it should be alright. I managed to get unobstructed views together in the Main Stand as well!! Bring it on!!!
