Really looking forward to the game tonight and was just preparing myself with a few beers down a tthe bottle-O, only to find out @$%! Setanta has rights to the game and we wont have access to it as we normally do EPL, and carling cup games in Australia. I know this is old hat to people in ye old England but has potentially ruined my weekend! Anyways does anyone know of any feeds etc i can access the game? Purchasing a subs. is not feasible for reasons not worth mentioning, any help would be much appreciated. Up the Blues!

liverpool have had the possession but they are the home team after all! with exception to the last ten minutes(11 behind the ball) wehave looked dangerous on the break with osman wasting a couple of good breaks as fo castillio he looks like a player who has not played for a while though his positional play looks better. well done boys.

I agree Ajay, and I don’t think Capello could do much better than picking our back four! Jags is one of the best defenders in the prem and Lescott is prone to the odd goal, what more could you ask for? Other than a right back with a hard tackle and a left back who can get forward and put in a decent cross..

As much as I dislike Engerland even I think you’d be daft to overlook Jagielka’s performances this season, Lescott too when he plays centre half is a great player.

Osman has been quite awful really.
The passion we played with on Monday seems to have gone, we defended well 1st half, and for most of it we were chasing shadows.
The shite look like they have gone up a gear, and are running us ragged at the moment. We are defending to deep, and giving them loads off space to pick out a pass.
We need to start getting back in their faces, and stop standing off them, otherwise you can see them getting another.

On top of Ossie, I don’t think Castillo has played football before.

the problem is that we cant hold the ball - cahill is being managed by skirtle and Anichebe and Ossie have gone missing.

What do you expect Ossie to do though? Not saying he not had a quiet game, he has, but Hibbert behind him, well oh for a right back that can pass. And in general we playing as if this is a defending exercise.

We are missing Arteta bigtime. In the league game a week ago he was always available for a pass and was setting up the play, it’s just non-existent in this game. Defenders are resorting to hoof-ball because of the lack of options in the midfield. Let’s just hope we can get away with a set piece goal towards the end.

What an awesome defensive display! Our boys put their bodies on the line and deserved to get something out of the game for that reason. Can’t really comment on our attacking game coz there wasn’t really one was there?!

Brian just going by what sentanta had after the game mate. Thing is, 56% to 54% looks a lot closer, to what I acctually watched. The shite had most of the possesion in the 1st half, and the 2nd half, we hardly touched the ball, apart from when we were defending. Good result though against all the odds, and quietly confident we can turn them over at Goodison.

No news on our subs bench, but looks like Castillo for Arteta is the only change to the starting XI
