Lescott to City?

Comments (9)

Just had a look at grandoldteam.com to see that a fee of £12million has been agreed with City. Ok, I know it's only a rumour but the person who posted the rumour is always spot on with team news before it's announced and other rumours. If it is true I will be fuming as we could get at least £20million for him.

I hope he stays because he's been outstanding, Let's just hope hes playing tonight as then we will know if its bullshit.

What’s so fantastic about being spot on with team news?

Everyone knows we’ve only got 12-14 players to choose from, plus Moyes doesn’t really tinker that much with the lineups. Even i could tell you the lineup just about every game well in advance.

No chance. Lescott is our next emergency striker after Cahill’s injury tonight!

This rumour has been doing the curcuit for about two weeks. I first heard it and it was £12 million plus Richard Dunne, but he is out for four weeks now. Don't be surprise at £12 million and Michael Johnson as Moyes has liked and been linked with him on a number of occassions.

We still have to remember though Moyes has said he needs to rebuild again so we will see players coming and going especially if they have a profit of £7 million. Hate to see this happen as Joleon will be an England regular very soon.

If it’s City who are buying we should ask for $50 million plus a new stadium since they would probably agree to those terms.

This rumour was started today on the Blue Kipper site by somebody who hacked into "I am the yak’s" account. It was meant as a joke and has been confirmed by the people behind the website FACT as Rafa might say.

Does Lescott look like a player who has agreed a deal to go to another club ? This is another of those unfounded rumours.Just look back at all the rumours of done-deals that never happen each season. Unless you believe that Lescott wasn’t playing for us last night and was watching his new club instead......
