Fellaini the big lug pole-axed the keeper. Lucky it wasnt a free kick for it. Can't understand why Lescott on the bench. Maybe becuase he is on 4 yellow cards and if he gets one today he misses the FA Cup game, but Neville is on 4 as well. Vintage Osman shuffling the feet then a shit pass.

Not happy at all with Fellaini, he?s just a passanger. His passing has been good but he looks so lazy again today. Happy with Peanuts, he?s getting stuck in and of course Tim is great.

Need to start getting control of this, keep it down and pass it.

And Jo needs to think about his movement/positioning.

I assume Fellaini still has a cracked vertebra, so he would not be playing if the injury crisis was not so acute

I don?t think teams will be to concerned conceding fouls outside the area... the drop off in quality is staggering with no Arteta.

Fellaini is having a mare!! He is sooo slow... hasn't tackled in the game, and he calls himself a DM? Don't think so!! His passing is non-existent, everything passes him by... and he loves to foul needlessly! He needs a good talkin to!

If you consider cost (free transfer, average wages) and minutes on field versus goals and compare Saha to Anichebe or Jo (at us and Man City) then there is only one winner. No-one else has the quality of Saha ? not even that Yak is as good ? it?s just a shame he can?t stay fit for long.

I think given a little love Fellaini could be class. He is slow but he still covers a lot of ground and his passing and positional play are top notch. We were looking lightweight in midfield without him until Saha?s beauty.

Simon Holly, have a word with yourself!. If Fellaini played for the other lot would you still say that? He is not a top player and is a huge waste of money. After today, irrespective of the result I am very worried. The thought of relying on people like Fellaini, Castillo and Jo to keep us in the top 6 chills the blood.

Fellaini is still only 20 years old so time to develop. He needs to stop arguing the toss with the referee after each of his scrappy challenges... either that or lose the comedy barnet because he is a yellow card magnet. 15 this season and he will be on a 3 match ban!

15 million quid certainly a gamble, but he was a sought-after, young top Belgian talent. We will have a much better idea of what we have after a full pre-season of preparation.

That's the Problem... "Young Top Belgian Talent" ?we're not back in the seventies/eighties now; Belgium are shit. Last upcoming star from there was the Mpenza brothers! Enough said. Personally I thought we got the wrong one of the midfield duo of Liege, should have gone for Steven Defour ? he has quality, tough, good tackler, passer... what we need in that midfield ? and captains the side at age of 20!!!

We needed height and Fellaini was as highly rated as Defour and offered height, so Moyes chose the one with the height advantage, obvious. Fellaini too has a quality touch and is a good passer, but Moyes chose Fellaini's aerial ability over Defour's good tackling.

We needed height? So why was DM pursuing Moutinho so bad? ? who, as you know, is as small as Osman... and if we got him Fellaini would still be "stroking it" in Belgium!

And height came first against skill on the ball and creativity? No evidence of Hoofball there then!

Yes, Fellaini can make the ball stick but good passer? ? not sure. He has 84 fouls against him according to Opta, which is a joke!

hes playing with a cracked bone in his back! give the guy a break! he is only playing because we are so short on numbers!

and any win with the currant injury list is a bloody good one!

well done blues!!!

Isnt it the sign of a good team that they win even when playing like shit?

And hey, Arsenal drew with Fulham, we’re now only two points behind them!
