Just saw the team news. The initial smile I had on my face when I saw Neville go to right back was completely overturned in to a frown of disbelief when seeing Baines on the left in midfield. Our only creative source without Arteta has been the left flank with Baines and Pienaar, and now that has been taken apart....... WTF! My anxiousness just turned to serious nervousness!

I am Moyes till I die and defend him on here quite a lot but he has definitely made a mistake with Yobo. He has said that Jagielka and Lescott are second only to Partizan Vidic and Rio Braindead and then he splits them up to bring in the laid back Jobo. He's lumbering around like the player he was when he made that terrible laid back don't give a shit pass to Rooney that game. Bricking myself everytime Boro attack. Can Moyes not see it?

Neil I would feel much more comfortable without Yobo with Pip at right back; Rodwell can handle the holding role Osman next to him and Gosling on the right I think it would work much better but thats just my opinion

Cant believe the deal that Fellaini and to some extent Cahill are getting from that bloody ref, Ballsey. Arca so flopped for that foul and thats given while Fellaini is having his hair pulled and Cahill pushed. I wasnt againt Boro in the league till now, but i hope they take their Riverside to the Championship next year and see if Downing stays with the sinking ship.
About us, could we play any worse than this? Rodwell might as well wear a paper bag over his head coz he has been hiding. Hoofball against Huth and Wheater? You kidding me? Get Rodwell off, move Ossie to the middle and bring Gosling/AvdM on the right. Saha could come on as well.We need this or its back to the drawing board. The League run in looks a bit dodgy...

Everton playing poorly. Boro aren’t much - if any - better.
Think the ref has no idea and is totally biased against Fellaini (who will certainly be booked as he really getting fed up with the rough, ignored, treatment he is getting.)
Moyes needs to get more creativity on, maybe Gosling, and get the team to pass it atround as Boro are far from impregnable at the back.

Didn't Moyes see enough against Blackburn to see that this line-up will not create anything? We are home to a side struggling to stay in the league and we play our best centre-back at right-back and 2 defensive midfilders in the middle.

Yobo Off, Saha on, Neville right back, Fellaini in the middle and Saha up with Cahill. I would also get Gosling on for Rodwell and stick Ossie in the middle with Gosling on the wing. Come on, Moyes, at least look like you want to win this game.

Come on Everton, take me to Wembley!!!!

The difference is we have basically a midfield and two forwards who havent put 3 passes together, whilst Middlesborough’s midfield 4 and two upfront are playing football.

Without Arteta we have no creativity, we cannot rely on Pinnear and Osman to step into the void , and in particular young Rodwell.

The other problem is we have nothing at all down the right hand side. Bite the bullet, sub Yobo, put Neville at RB and bring on Saha.

We play too deep and invite them to attack. Jag is good at defense but does not at attack. We don?t create any good chance from the right.

AVM? Can you play the full 45 minutes?

We really need to keep Saha Fit now. He really made the difference when he came on even if he did miss an easy chance in front of goal. The more minutes he gets the better he will get. One thing I would like is earlier balls through the middle, he made a great break at one point but Pienaar did not release, he will rip teams apart with runs like that.

This may sound odd but... we have a better chance of beating Utd in the semi than the final. They will be in the middle of playing for the title/Champions League so may have more injuries/suspension etc.
