Leaked 2009/10 home kit?

Comments (31)

Lordy, let's hope this is a wind-up or, if not, has been leaked early enough that fan reaction can make the club see sense and change course before it's too late!

Yikes!

I can?t see what's wrong with it! The only issue I have with the Home Kit is the white panels under the arms! Other than that it is a classic Le Coq shirt from the eighties which was a very successful time for us. The Away Kit isn?t too bad, the colours are from our early history.

Love it! I?ve also made my order for 2010-11 which will be the Lineker bib.

The away kit is so Man City though.

The white in the home shirt should always be at an absolute minimum. As should the blue in the shorts. Le Coq Sportif? I keep hearing this so it must be true. Hasn’t that brand gone backwards? I’d have thought we’d be trying to court Adidas or Nike by now..

Both kits are horrendous, the style sucks and they are too busy. Le Coq Sportiff is an awful sports outfitter ? why oh why can't we sign on with Nike or Addidas? Some of the prevoius kits produced by Umbro I thought were bad, but compared to this crap I would take Umbro back in a heartbeat! We are Everton and not some team from the Mexican League that has bizarre designs and lots of "action".

They look like bloody rugby kits. Since when have we been associated with purple. I hope this is a joke.

It's not purple, it's salmon pink which we wore back in the nineties and also as recently as 2001-02 season.

I detest any great deviation from simple blue shirts with simple with collars. I’d prefer something akin to the classic kit worn by A Ball, H Kendall, C Harvey et al.

Michael Tracey not sure what you?ve got your monitor set to but in no way shape or form does that look like "salmon pink" ? it's fucking pink/purple. The home top would make your boobs or knockers stick out a mile, piss-poor designs from a second rate kit supplier.

Gavin wow what an outburst! Don?t shoot the messenger mate! Its not exactly a high quality pic and the colour from the pic is as if someone has the brightness turend up. Look at the Home kit it looks lighter than normal!

If these are the kits (???) that we will be wearing next season then it will be classed as Salmon Pink and not fucking pink/purple. I would say it will come across a lot darker than this low rate high brightness pic!

Also the home kit (???) has some white panels at the side or did you miss that? So ease off on the abuse, you twat!

I agree with Paul Walsh. Just all blue on top apart from the badge and a simple blue stripe down the side of pure white shorts would be nice....and very fetching!

They are both fucking horrible, I hate that bib/smock look and the away shirt is like a bad 1980's design and thats saying something for the 80s... totally shit.

For me, we play in blue shirts, white shorts, white socks. Thats BLUE shirts, not bit of blue bit of white. I love the ’85 shirt, but it should remain as it is, historical. What comes next? Back to the awful white bibs of ’86?

As for away kit, its too much, plus I’m surprised how much I like the current dayglo yellow one.

Boys,

Every year there are many ?leaked? images of the coming seasons kits.

There is no way that this is our official design.

This is so easy to fake and despite the fact that the away kit looks so messy and unprofessional, the home kit is just too cheesy to be real.

Fair enough I am all for keeping with tradition but the club would not go this far.

Someone has designed this at home in their bedrooms and somone has got the wrong end of the stick.

I would put my house on it.

Quite like the home shirt and the nod to 84-85. I think the other shirt is probably the 3rd kit as an Everton away kit should always be yellow in my opinion.

Paul Sullivan - "The blue shirt looks like a dress "

Worse... it looks like a maternity dress.

For one year at least we should consider the Black Watch colours ? black with a scarlet sash/diagonal stripe.

I agree the return of the white bib - 85-86 look is not our best. Simple royal blue for the home shirt !

This site is very interesting:

As an aside, certain combos should obviously not be allowed... what is with Man U having a blue strip?... unconscionable!

I reckon its the lady’s kit.
The blue one looks like a 70s evening dress from Abigail’s Party and the other one’s pink. At least I hope its the lady’s kit.
I agree with Jay, something akin to the 60s holy trinity kit would be great with WHITE socks.

The Adidas kits are horrible, I know a few Chelsea supporters who hate them. Apart from a few changes to a bit of white piping on the shirts the blue and red versions of the same shirt always end up being worn by Liverpool & Chelsea and they always gotta have the 3 stripes thing, I’m not sure I’d want to be part of that.

Nike maybe, they seem to produce quite classic looking clean shirts most of the time,

It sounds like I?m in the minority here but... I quite like the away / 3rd kit. Agree with the comments about the home kit though, there shouldn?t be any white in the shirt (or at least should be kept to a minimum).

I’ll reserve my judgement until I actually get to see the shirts "in the flesh".

I find it interesting though, the number of people who insist that Everton should wear white socks. The club didn’t start wearing them until 1958, and since then have worn them for about 30 seasons, as opposed to 20 where blue socks have been preferred.

To each their own I guess. But me, I like the blue.

There is a niggling question I have wanted to ask since I saw that awful kit design by Le Coq sportif that is supposedly next season's kit ? is this kit a wind-up or not and what is the quality like on Le Coqs Kits?

I feel sick after viewing those! Just emailed Everton to voice what every other fan on here as stated... embarrassing! (if true!)
