Beating a really big team

Did anyone else pick up this classic comment by Moyes after yesterday's win: "Middlesbrough played well, but we have earned the right to go to a final having beaten Liverpool and Aston Villa so far. Now we have to beat a really good side to get to the final".

And to think that there are countless Liverpool fans who thought thay had a good chance of winning the League this year!

Was he being specific about Man U or general about football. The former I would presume as ’at Everton we do things in a certain style’, too right.

When will we know which Semi-Final date we have been allocated - do we have to wait until we know the outcome of the remaining Quarter Final?

I have a horrible feeling I'm going to miss it but this could be an omen ? we arrived in Portugal the day before stuffing Spurs back in 1995!

Totally agree Jonathan ? DM, "People's Club" onwards has shown himself to be a master of the telling phrase.

?Magnanimous in Victory, Cheated in Defeat? Mad Martin, and El Gordo who has to suffer small clubs beating his own both led sides who were quite correctly relegated to the record books as inferior opposition.

We can play with the big boys ? and we can win!
