The Mail Bag
How can they get away with this?

Like many non-season ticket blues I'm desperate to get tickets for the semis. I've had a route around on the web to see what might be available from a non-club source and look what I found:

Unbelievable! I expected prices of £100 plus but this is ridiculous. No wonder the FA limit the number of tickets they sell to clubs, so they can sell to these sharks.

I was desperate for a cup ticket at Anfield and used the site you mentioned to purchase 2 tickets at £130 each in the Everton section. Great seats but it begs the question ? how do these people get tickets in the Everton end? It really does need stamping out and to add insult, I got no credits for these tickets as they aren?t in my name!
Wembley is a farce, I also bought tickets a couple of years ago at £220 each for me and my 2 kids to watch England v Germany because it was officially sold out ? lo and behold, only 65,000 attended the game due to the Club Wembley section being virtually empty.

Sadly a lot of the higher priced ones are people who have the 10-year-club ticket and they are allowed to by the terms and conditions actually transfer them to other people game by game (a nice way of saying they can sell them on).
