Yes it was but he’s missed several chances and given the ball away too many times in my opinion. I think he’d be better as a substitute; he’s just not fast enough to pull off what he tries to but if the other team was a bit slower he’d be golden

An inconsistant half, however we must give Wigan credit, they have caused a few problems and proved why they are challenging for Europe.

Ossie I think is having a good game, he has gave the ball away a few times but he is very lively and involved in most of our moves, his movement is better than in recent months and his passes are looking to feed jo, but wigans defence is soing a good job, especially boyce.

Felliani is beginning to look more composed and confident and Jo has improved alot, his movement seems good and he making good runs behind the defence. I expect another goal from him, just need to make the pass - how we miss mikky.

The only change I would make however would be to push cahill forward more and let Felliani drop back, I think given the chance he could be the best passer in our current midfield, would also help nullify the scharner threat.

Why have some people always gotta moan about someone. Hibbert and Neville have suffered in the past but now it is Osman. Would we be 1 up if Osman was on the bench? It was a great ball to feed in Jo. Lets get off his back and support the 11 on the pitch.

Come on Everton!!!

Unfortunately at the moment I’m working on a shitty boat off the coast of Nigeria watching the Man U game, when I was promised the Everton game would be put on. I always miss the games where we seem to turn it on! Oh well, at least I have Toffeeweb (and watching Villa lose which is another bonus :) )

Easy now people ? it?s just my opinion. Damn, is it illegal to have an opinion??

I just keep seeing Osman get pushed off the ball, send passes astray, and send clear cut chances well wide (at least 2 in the first half), and I can?t help but think that another player, maybe Gosling, Rodwell, VdM, would do better

So get off my goddamn back and COYB!!!

Great result today, and a big shout for Tony Hibbert, who had another tricky player to contend with in N?Zogbia but never gave him an inch. Just a shame that Villa have just taken the lead against the Mancs...

Conservative (realistic target)

Aston Villa (A) 1 point
Man Utd (A) 1 points
Chelsea (A) 1 point
Man City (H) 3 points
Sunderland (A) 3 points
Tottenham (H) 1 point
West Ham (H) 3 points
Fulham (A) 1 point
Total points 14 point + 51 points = 65 points

Worse case target

Aston Villa (A) 1 point
Man Utd (A) 0 points
Chelsea (A) 0 point
Man City (H) 1 points
Sunderland (A) 1 point
Tottenham (H) 1 point
West Ham (H) 3 points
Fulham (A) 1 point
Total points 5 points + 51 points = 56 points

Best case scenario target

Aston Villa (A) 3 point
Man Utd (A) 1 points
Chelsea (A) 1 point
Man City (H) 3 points
Sunderland (A) 3 point
Tottenham (H) 3 point
West Ham (H) 3 points
Fulham (A) 1 point
Total points 18 points + 51 points = 69 points

4th position points tally over last 5 years (58, 76, 68, 67, 61; mean = 66 points)

4th place is a very real possiblity based on the last 5 years within the Premier League.

Come on you blues!!!

Nathan, don’t know where you’ve been mate but we have already played Manure twice in the league. When we play them in a fortnight it just happens to be in a semi-final of another small competition known as the F.A. Cup.

Fellaini... Regardless of what the fee was, ?15m or £3m with extras, has done well in his first season (ok, some say he is slow, his positioning hasn't been the greatest etc etc). What is that now? Six league goals, a couple of assists. Today was one of his better games, but when you take into account his age and that this is his first season in the Premier League, how can anyone argue that it hasn't been anything less than a solid start!

Next season we will undoubtadly expect more, that goes without saying, but he has not been a Krøldrup. Am I wrong?
